There were ants everywhere. Maybe because my room was on the gound floor. I needed to store my snacks in a refrigerator. Finding ants swarming my thing was traumatic to be honest. Also I found a worm once. For me, who really don't like insects and usually not find ones in my apartment, the room was not quite comfortable in terms of that. Also, the bathroom didn't look clean and organized. The water flowed outside of the "bathroom" as there was nothing to stop it. (and there were ants as well) The furnitures looked old and were not quite clean, but okay since I wasn't at the hotel all the day. FYI, bed was good. I'd ask for another type of room (if any) in case there is a next time. Anyway, good experience and nice meeting good people there!

Great location in the sassi area. Such a great view from the hotel, so I didn't have to go far from the hotel to see the morning/night view of the sassi. Quite the experience of living in one of the "cave room" as well. (But the room was darker and more humid than I thought. It's all about the experience) The staffs were really nice and friendly even without English. They helped me carry my luggages when check in and out. Especially a driver, who provided a transfer to the hotel, showed me around the neighbourhood quickly and took some photos of me when I got there, and also took me to a nice focaccia place. Wish I could speak Italian.

We reserved two rooms, 510 and 512. 510 had a shower and soaker tub. It smelled nice, too. 512 only had a shower, and the room had a strong mildew smell. But, the rooms were nice (despite the odor in one room), clean linens, and spacious areas.

Scenery is simply INCREDIBLE!!! Staying in a cave was most memorable. The hotel staff recommended a pizzeria nearby that was also amazing. This was an experience I will never forget. Excellent, excellent, excellent.

Difficult to reach with heavy luggage, but if you search something to reach more comfortable by car you should not search for something in the middle of an historical place. I suggest light luggage. Pictures are not very accurate since rooms are all different. Just be open and enjoy!

The porter not carry our baggages but just dragging on the rough stone paving road, we paid them to carry our luggages otherwise we can do it by ourselves

As my second time checked in this great hotel, it is surely the most fantasitc hotel during this trip. Stunning view of the outline of the city, very enjoyable breakfast, we took a lots of good photos

you dont expect a modern room. Its accomodation in the rock. very very small bathroom receptionist didnt speak English well but we agreed. we came from ostuni by about 10 busses and trains.

Parking is challenge but that's for any stay in the Sassi. Travel light so you can walk easily from car to hotel.

Breakfast (as probably in most of the hotels in It) was nothing special. Bed was short for me.

I really liked this hotel. It is good value for the money. My room had a terrace with an amazing view, the best in the city. All seemed clean.

The air-condition didn’t work much and very noisy. I could see some mould in the bathroom as well. I was there for a night so did not make a fuss.

Love the location and felt like living in ancient time. The staff are great as well.

Could have done with a kettle to make tea.

The terrace had a great view and was lovely to have breakfast out on it. The cave design was extremely comfortable and unique. The breakfast had a lot of variety and good quality.

Pretty good location with a nice view. Breakfast was so-so. The room was very nice and interesting(just to be prepared - there is a moldy smell, which is to be expected from such type of building.)

One goes up and down, one has to be aware of it. Staff is ok. Apart from the guy at the reception, others could be more friendly.

Top position in the sassi area. Very spatious and clean rooms. Good breakfast (coffee not super but all the rest very good). Breathtaking position and view.
