눉Very classic decor, but some may find it just old. The bathroom smelled sometimes. One thing that was very unpleasant was that the staff from the front desk told us that the hotel had a private boat that could sent us on a tour to Murano island with no extra charge. So we booked it. But what he didn´t tell us is that the boat only drives you to a glass factory and shop. You get out of the boat in front of the shop and a salesman comes to welcome you and show a simple demostration of glass making. Then, he invites you to meet the 2nd floor, where you can see very beautiful master pieces (all very expensive). You are now so amazed by all the great experience and surrounded by all of that art, but everything is so out of reach. Then, comes the salesperson and "lets you know" that on the 1st floor there are some options, smaller ones, that you can buy as souvenirs. So you end up chosing one (or more) to buy, although they are not nearly as beautiful as the ones you just saw upstairs. And they are not cheap. The sad part comes when you walk by Rialto bridge and see the things you bought (or almost bought), for half (or a third) of the price of that factory shop. It would´ve much nicer if the front desk staff just told us "there´s a private boat that can drive you to a glass factory that you can see the glass being made and there´s also a shop." So don´t fall into the trick of buying products in Murano factories (lots of other hotels should have this "agreement" with glass factories). If possible, first go to the Rialto bridge to know the prices and then go to Murano.
눇Great location, in front of the vaporetto station, so you won´t need to drag your bags into the narrow streets of Venice. In a few steps, you can reach the Piazza San Marco and all the main attractions there. Good breakfast.

눉Bed was hard - and that's it!
눇Stunning location 150 metres from St Mark's Square on the lagoon. 18th century decor actually charming; we had a deluxe suite which was immense with a stunning, modern bathroom. Staff were friendly, helpful and quite charming. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which was more than adequate; spend the extra money for a lagoon view suite as, through booking.com, it's outstanding value. The Danielle, next door, is 5 times the price!
