Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThe walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbours as if they were in the same room with us. This is a complaint that seemed to appear in many hotels in Rome. In November that wasn't such a huge problem as I suppose there weren't many people in the adjacent rooms.
Our room was different than in the pictures, but the difference was very positive. It seemed to have been recently renovated with big bed and clean, modern-looking, but not too big bathroom. If someone was unusually tall or plus-sized, I suppose the size of the bathroom (especially the shower) might be a problem. The reception was open all night, which came in handy as we left for the airport at 3 am. The breakfast was a positive surprise. The choice of sweetened pastries was plentiful. The coffee machine was very proffesional (espresso machine with a flask). There were 2 types of cereal, sweetened and regular yogurt, milk, water, as well as apple and orange juice. As for the savoury food, there were toasts, white bread, hard-bioled eggs and one type of prosciutto, ham and salami. No vegetables, a few fruites like apples and kiwi. Considering what I read about colazione in Italy it was a very positive surprise.

GreeceThey didn’t inform us that we have to pay 2€ for each small bottle in the fridge and upon check out we paid 10€ extra. There wasn’t a list with charges of the mini bar (there were only 2 small bottles of water in the fridge every day and we thought they were free because there is no price list). The breakfast is very “basic” and poor for almost 100€ per night. Also you have to wake up early because the breakfast is from 7-9:30, after that time the ladies from the breakfast clean the rooms.
The staff is very kind, smiley and helpful ! Very close by Fontana di trevi and metro station Republica. Reception in the first floor of the building, the elevator is toooo small.

AndorraIt was very difficult for us to find the place since it doesn’t have any big sign. They should make it more visible. The room was normal ok, and the building is quite old. The lift was very very small!

CanadaThere was nothing I didn’t like. As in many European hotels, the shower is small which might be an issue for some. Also, the tiled bathroom floor was dangerously slippery if you stepped out of the shower with wet feet straight onto the tile. Make sure you use the bath mat provided.
The hotel is located close to the station. There is a grocery store about a minute away. It is easy to walk to many attractions from here. And there is a hop on hop off bus stop close to the station. The hotel has been modernized inside. Our booking included breakfast: breakfast consisted of juice, coffee, tea, as well as bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs and fruit. Staff were very friendly.

AustraliaNothing.
Exceptional service by reception who organised our transport from and back to Rome airport. The room was a standard 3 star room which was clean and met our expectations. Everything went smoothly. We did not take advantage of the breakfast which only cost 5 euros each which was much cheaper than the breakfast we had later on in a nearby cafe.

United Arab EmiratesNothing major wrong except shower cabin size (extremely small and uncomfortable) and really bad quality of shampoo and shower gel and whatever else in the bathroom. Better bring your own. No view from window but I didnt care for 1 night.
Location is superb. Just stayed 1 night for shopping. Room was okey, reasonably small, a bit outdated, but well... it is what it is in center of Rome for.this money.Staff was nice , helpful, but a bit lack of english, though it was fine.

Generally all good, service personnel excellent, breakfast for 5 Euros brilliant. Ladies in breakfast area outstanding service. Bathroom / Shower too small is the only downside, the shower head does not work properly, the shampoo satchels are no good, they need to change them, and add some container of conditioner

United States of AmericaThe breakfast variety is limited with bread, pastries, boiled egg and coffee. They should have included some hot fresh breakfast.
Breakfast was cheap for 5 euros per person. The roof of the room was incredibly ornate, with wooden beams and paintings which were amazing and we did not expect at all. It was nice to wake up to see the paintings on the ceiling. The front desk person was amazing and gave us lot of useful information about travelling around.

AustraliaThis time around, our second time for this particular trip, we were given a room which faced the main street and, while it was wonderful to look at the window at the passing parade, Via Nazionale is a very busy street. Consequently, we had to sleep with the windows shut (and air conditioning on). Therefore, if you like to have an open window, it is important to ask (when you are booking) for a room at the back of the hotel. We stayed in Room 25 on our first stay this trip and this was quiet and we were able to sleep very comfortably with the window open. Finally, a word of caution if you are unaccustomed to Italian bathrooms in hotels - they are quite cramped and have very little room to shower/dry yourself without feeling as though you need to be a contortionist... but that is in a lot of hotel rooms around Europe
I liked the way the staff was always willing to help out in any way they could... no request was too difficult for them (particularly as this was our second stay on our trip and the elevator was having issues the second time around). The location was very convenient but did, this second time also create a few issues. The breakfast room, while airy, is not necessarily as inviting as in the internet pictures... however, the breakfast is quite extensive and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall though, based on how willing the staff were to assist us, I would definitely rate the hotel highly.
