4 star hotel shouldn't be missing a toilet seat in bathroom

sulfur smell is a little overwhelming when you first arrive but you get use to it after a a while. We stayed in the annex facing the road therefore we really did not smell it in our room. Staff was pleasant but dining room staff seem more interested in getting you finished and out in the morning. Don't go late as they don't seem to refill and little to eat at the end.

Air conditioner in the newer wing where we were staying was not working - it was very hot and difficult to sleep. Staff did their best, gave us fans and were trying to rectify the issue. Outside of this, great stay and recommend this hotel.

Not the hotel’s fault but we’d assumed the hotel pool was ordinary temperature not thermal. Made it difficult with teenagers in very hot weather.

The smell of the springs is quite overwhelming. We would have loved to have spent time outdoors in the beautiful setting but had to stay inside.

Facilities at the hotel were very good, we had everything we needed from a hotel. Having a dip in the springs was very nice. Beautiful views of the mountainside. Breakfast was excellent.

There was a socket that was loose, but once I brought it to the hotels attention, it was fixed straight away.

Perfect place to relax and have a treatment in naturally thermally water pools. It the one of the best places.

Could be more clean and improve the poor maintenance, not enough staff for the Spa center. Check out is too early if you want to book any treatment and the should provide more items for the Thermae pool. The hot breakfast was incomplete with no eggs and alternative food, generally speaking was ok. It is an ok place for a short stay

The standard room we had this time in the annexed structure was unfortunately way too loud, I would suggest avoiding this kind of room for whom want to rest and take the room in the main structure.

Second time here and surely there will be the third one. I like the friendliness and availability of the staff to meet every request. The structure is clean and well maintained (not easy for a thermal facility). Many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood.

The furniture of the whole hotel were too old to be rated as a 4* hotel and the bad smell of the sulfur in the rooms in the middle of the night that was impossible to get some sleep.

try to avoid rooms facing the road. The road is busy but not too noisy... the bars in front are the problem if you are trying to relax. If you don't care about the noise well then you should probably ask for one of these rooms as you get away from the smell from the thermal spring. If you are looking to do some work or use the WIFI after 9PM there will be no internet connection at all....you will be completely offline until at least 2AM. This happened to be really bad as I needed to work online every night but wasn't able to do so...no internet at all!!! no cellphone signal, no WIFI, nothing...

the pool area is nice, the small pool downstairs even better. Trying to keep the smell outside the room is challenging but it is OK as you need to live with it at a thermal springs in the region. The mattress in my room was too soft but after I complained the nice staff gave me another room and the mattress was just perfect.

I stayed at Terme Capasso only for a night on April 8, 2024—a solo stay. I booked this hotel to relax and use the thermal facilities. Not only was I unable to rest, it tired me even more! I agree with the other reviews - the beds are ancient and uncomfortable. I kept waking up continuously because of how bad it was! Secondly, it was probably my bad luck, but the clientele was highly unhygienic. Robes were old and ripped. I honestly refrained from using any of these facilities. Thirdly, there was a constant smell of sulphur. I don’t know if it was due to thermal water processing or an open septic hole; it was pretty much disgusting and kept me awake for the most part. The breakfast was OK and included in the rates. However, as mentioned above, senior folks walking down the mess hall with their robes and slippers felt uncomfortable. Unless you need to go and stay at this hotel, I would not recommend it.
