Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The village is well maintained. We slept well. The lake view area was nice. The check in process was fast. Our friends came and stayed at our patio too.

SerbiaComfort bungalow is very basic. Doesn't look like you see on booking photos. Strong chemical smell inside after cleaning, that wasn't so good as we found hair in bathroom. Also you need to pay for towels and linen.

comfortable camping right on Lake Garda. the center is well-kept, clean and safe. we parked comfortably close to our house, we had pools right next to it and a path to the lake. the campsite has a shop, cafe and restaurant. cultural guests, our neighbors did not make any noise, we felt very well throughout our stay. we chose maxicaravan prestige. it had a lot of space inside, good kitchen and bathroom equipment and a large porch

Very nice place for families. Even though we visited in the summer peek, the pool cacpacity was reasonably good and no waiting lines for morning groceries. The location great for trips to villages at the lakeside, but also Verona and Brescia.

LatviaThe check-in time is super late - it starts at 5 pm. The pool is open until 7pm which I think is too early for it to close, we didn't make it since we also wanted to check out the surroundings during daytime. We didn't know that linen and towels were at extra cost (13,50 Euros for two sets of towels and a double linen). Had I known that, I might have considered other places to book because at the end it exceeded our planned budget for the stay. The bathroom felt a bit dirty for some reason, perhaps it's because the appliances looked a bit worn (the shower especially). Before the trip, we received an email for a quicker check-in online which didn't work (at the last step, instead of a "Confirm" button there was a "Search" button which returned an error). Generally, the place felt super touristy which I kinda expected. But I think that's to expect when you're in Sirmione and want a place to stay right by the Garda lake.
The Garda Village is a humongous village with lots of vacation homes of various sizes. We picked a house sized comfortably for 3 people. The kitchen had all the utensils had we wanted to cook (we chose to go to a local restaurant, La Rotonda, for a slow dinner and some wine). The bed was alright. There was a lovely private terrace with a table and chairs right by the house entrance.

PolandIn some regards, the village seems to have stayed in 1990s - requiring swimming caps in the pool or offering a paid wifi with a ridiculous rate per hour.
Nicely located. Direct exit to the fair beach. Although densely located, the camp houses privacy is ok. Sparkling wine for the welcome. Close to the beautiful centre of Sirmione. Close to supermarkets.

United KingdomThere could have been a few more utensils and saucepans in the kitchen. We were travelling around Europe by train and the local bus service was appalling - only one bus an hour, never on time and ended relatively early in the evening. If you have a car, it's a great location to explore Lake Garda and beyond.
The kids/fitness entertainers were exceptional, they worked so hard to ensure everyone enjoyed their stay. It was great entertainment in the evening. The lake beach and pools were perfect and the camp was kept well maintained despite a heavy hailstorm the day before our arrival.

Second time for us, the previous one was years ago, the place is outdated, the tennis courts are not maintained, the cabins look very modest, not what you expect in a tourist resort. If there isn't a significant upgrade, we probably won't be back.
