No lunch available - not even a drink. We were recommended to drive 4km to Montecarlo to get a sandwich and coffee. Really poor service in the restaurant for breakfast. How can they run out of cups (twice), plates, glasses and knives & forks when they know how many guests are expected? Both coffes machines out of order sporadically. Only orange juice in the juice machine. Not a word of English for at least one of the staff so how do you explain you need a knife a fork?. Toaster not very successful. Ham also ran out. Cucumber offered in 2cm thick slices and the knife that I found myself in thr kitchen was too blunt to slice it thinner. Strange smell in the bedroom - maybe from cleaning chemicals? No mosquito net. Shower head holder loose.

Great service in the restaurant in the evening. Food ok.

Everything is a bit old and outdated. The airconditioning in the room was not functioning resulting in very high uncomfortable temperatures during the night.

Old decor was weird. Carpets need replacing. Only one flat pillow each. Pool needs leaves scooping out regularly. Was worried about people sitting on chairs under falling tree that had been propped up with wood; what if it fell on them?

Air temperature of room was perfect for sleeping. Pool was lovely. Nice and clean rooms. Lots of parking.

Sometimes, parking can be tight as the restaurant has patrons who take up parking space that would otherwise be needed by hotel guests. Can't really come up with anything else.

We have stayed at Hotel Villa Delle Rose before and have always had an excellent experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, had a very nice bathroom and the balcony was an added bonus. The location is convenient for travel to Pescia as well as the surrounding towns.

You need a car to get there and the main villages around (Lucca, Siena, Pisa) stay a little far away...

Bathroom looks pretty darn old, at least a curtain for the shower would be a nice addition (we flooded the floor each time we showered)

Charming, old-style villa with a mishmash of everything inside, charmingly old-style. Gigantic room filled with vintage furniture which - though kinda old-looking - was spottlessly clean and overall charming. Comfy bed and good breakfast

The only thing I could say is that the rooms are dated and would definitely benefit from an upgrade.

The Hotel has well kept grounds and a lovely sized pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We eat at the pool bar and the food was amazing. Later in the evening we eat in the restaurant. The menu was extensive and if you like fish then there is a fabulous selection. We both had 3 courses and each dish was delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit.

There was nothing to dislike.

We loved the place. It was a little old fashioned, but to us this added to its charm. We certainly will be back. The restaurant was charming and the food excellent

The mattrasses are old and have spirals which you feel in your back. The pool is already closed. The breakfastbuffet was mediocre. Would not recommend spending your money here!!
