We would have liked to have more fresh vegetables and fruits available for breakfast.

Light and airy room, comfortable bathroom with a large walk in shower. Separate heating, which was nice in the rather cool spring weather.

We were supposed to get a room in Villa Le Magnolie but there has been an issue with AC and we have been relocated in the attenant hotel ; we get as a replacement a very simple room, at a far lower standard compared to what we paid initially and we had to ask to get an upgrade in compensation (they did not took the initiative) The hotel allow guests with dogs but does not fix limits (a dog pooped on the pool garden just 4 meters to our chairs....) The place (Montecatini) is a bit old-fashioned for a young couple (seems like a ghost town sometimes)

The location is a bit out of the main centre.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

The bathroom, though 1930's and charming, was narrow and the jacuzzi bath did not work. This in no way reflects on the hotel, but for future reference, the restaurant recommendation in M. Alto (The Tower) was expensive and the service was poor. The waiter did not bring our wine in a cooler - maybe because we only ordered the House wine, were v abrupt, giving no menu information, which was disappointing. The food itself was good, but no better than anywhere else we had eaten in Tuscany. I have never been to a quality restaurant where there is no toilet paper or hand wash!

Easy to find and with private parking over the road. The location was great - close to the funicular to Montecatinin Alto and a 10 minute walk past the baths into the town. The villa was separate to the main hotel and we were given a free upgrade, probably as we had e-mailed that it was my 50th birthday. The room was charming, airy and v. clean and furnished with antiques. The breakfast was excellent, with every imaginable pastry available, along with meats, cheeses, cereals and fruit etc. The receptionist gave us a recommendation for a restaraurant in M. Alto.
