The facilities are dated, for example the faucets, the sinks. The bed was also not very comfortable but it was clean so it was sufficient for us.

The location is further from the city centre but its precisely why we picked this hotel as we wanted to spend time as a family within the hotel premises. The hotel is situation within a large compound with beautiful olive trees and little gardens all around which was perfect for my 1 year old son to run around in. The villa was impeccably clean although the room facilities were rather dated. The staff was always friendly and breakfast was served in a beautiful glass house every morning overlooking a small garden and pool. They also had a shuttle service to the city centre which was great for us although it was payable at EUR 2.50 per way per person. We went in November and the frequency was reduced so it was a bit inconvenient but we made do with the timetable and managed fine. We could also order in food using Deliveroo which was great since we couldn't dine out for dinner given the sleep schedule of our son.

Well sadly there is just one thing that was not quit right and that is the restaurant. The menu was so disappointing with no pasta or risotto dishes and when I ordered the fish tasting menu I got a load of raw fish, something called Dolphin fish seemed to appear on the menu a lot. We had the bistecca (steak) on the last night and that was really good. We will be going again but will probably eat in Florence.

The hotel was once apon a time a grand villa privately owned and so now and I would say expanded into a lovely hotel sitting within beautiful mature gardens with some magnificent trees which must be ancient. The hotel has a feeling of opulence and grace which makes it a very relaxing environment. The rooms are great, swimming pool good, bar etc all good. Staff also extremely helpful and very friendly. You feel like a roman senator walking through your own villa grounds when taking a stroll through the grounds.

Terrible coffee! Sad given we’re in Italy and no ability to watch any cable channels. Mainly all local which was a shame as we fancied watching a film on our last evening. Minor things though overall.

Situated just outside the city giving the Tuscan feel to our stay. Loved the traditional feel and warmth from the staff. Room with the most amazing view.

Single beds were a bit small but they were super comfortable.

The Hotel is stunning and it has a beautiful garden area where you can relax and have a swim at the pool. Breakfast was delicious and staff is incredibly helpful. Wifi works really well and rooms are very clean. Strongly recommend this hotel.

As above, but the only suggestions would be to have more choices at the restaurant for children and for there to be a more regular 'patrol' to collect the used cups and glasses that builds up near the pool.

Really liked the property, substantial and beautiful grounds and the pool was amazing in the heat. My only small suggestion would be for the restaurant to cater separately for children at dinner and lunch. Food was lovely, but expensive and there weren't necessarily straightforward children's choices - but this is where the staff pulled out all the stops and really helped us.

I will never stay anywhere else if I am lucky to visit Florence again. The entire place is absolutely stunning . The shuttle into the city was easy and cheaper than a taxi . The gardens are immaculate and the pool crystal clean and perfect after a long hot day walking the city . It’s a peaceful haven from the crowds . The staff are so friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible . Most spoke and / or understood English enough to understand . This place is paradise .

Stayed at Villa Olmi for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying here was a nice break from the busy center and summer heat. They have a shuttle service that will take you to town and back. You can also reach the center and return with a Taxi! Room was large and clean, aircon worked very well. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool was wonderful with towels and loungers. I would absolutely stay here again next time visiting Florence.

Facilities were beautiful, staff was beyond friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious. The shuttle to town was super convenient. We were travelling with a baby and they made all the effort to accommodate. Would definitely stay again!

I can't find any disadvantages.

Super friendly staff!! Beautiful and convenient room. Great decoration. The breakfast was tasty, including fresh fruits, and very good coffee and hot chocolate. There is a shuttle to Florence (an extra) that saves the hassle of parking. It is 20 minutes away from the center of Florence.

What a beautiful hotel. Stunning views, amazing decor and lovely staff. We loved our stay here. A great way to end our trip and have some well needed down time! Not to mention the amazing food. Best we had in Italy. We even topped it off with an amazing room massage! WOW!

Food wasn’t amazing.

The grounds were beautiful, rooms very authentic but still good storage and jacuzzi bath. Food was a little posh for us so we ate out or went into Florence. Great pool and great Value
