A family owned renovated old palace turned out to be a dream-hotel. In the heart of Tuscany. All the clichés and fantasies of this sentence come to life Around the main building a beautiful garden very well kept. An amazing stuff. Starting with Marco the owner was so authentically friendly. It is obvious that he really love to host and his friendliness is really genuine. It goes down the staff his aunt that prepares amazing variety of cakes for breakfast and =the people in the desk – especially Lorenzo who was so patient gave us useful tips and assisted us with everything. The location is perfect – San Gimingano sienna Chianti region with numerous little authentic towns. Florence or Pisa is less than an hour drive and nearby village you can find all that us necessary – supermarket, laundry, good pizza. Value for money is excellent. Rooms are spacious, conferrable, and perfectly clean, and above all is the good filling and attitude of the people who run and operate this magnificent spot

very friendly staff, car parking, even only a 2 km walk from the main station, up on the hill, a historic building with a nice small park, right on the main cycling & hiking paths of the area. Nice cosy rooms restored in historic style. Nice breakfast. Thank you!

We booked this place so we could be near San Gimignano. It was great, the staff were exceptionally polite and attending. The location was easy to find, and we liked the countryside. The garden, the place for breakfast, it made the whole atmosphere tranquil and enjoyable. We had a connecting room, and the beds were so comfortable and big. We really liked the aesthetics of the hotel, how they tried to keep it looking retro, but all really modern and functional. The breakfast was perfect, lots to choose from, and really polite and helpful staff!

The main hotel rooms are all carpeted and old. If you are allergic to old care pet, suggest you ask for the Villa or room without carpet.

We were assigned a Villa room 107, it overlook the Tuscany valley. The view is break-taking. The hotel staff Lorenzo is super friendly, helpful. The hotel manager Marco is a very good host. Staying at Villa Lucchese make us feel home away from home. The hotel has a nice restaurant and breakfast is simple but good.

The welcome and hospitality was outstanding. We were made to feel very special and as if we were the only people there, but there were many and a travel group in a bus as well. Marco, his family, and staff are so genuinely kind and helpful.

There is no complementary water in room…it’s weird. I didn’t get impression from villa. Just good stay.

I only wish we would’ve stayed longer!

I loved everything about this place! It is definitely a typical Tuscany villa - rustic, very cosy, and.. italian! We had a very nice room in the second floor, which was overlooking the dining area and the pool - we truly loved it! The personell was friendly, the breakfast buffet was great (with fresh baked pies! ). There was nothing to ask more.. The restaurant was also great, always full so You should book a table in advance!

The shower head had very little pressure, so taking a long shower was a bit of a problem.

We were incredibly pleased with everything. First of all, thanks to the hospitable staff, your stay is even more beautiful. The cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed and pillow was wonderful. The pool was clean, breakfast was very good. We had our meals at the restaurant in the hotel and it was very successful.

There are some minor maintenance issues (e.g., some damaged pool tiles, long delay for hot water, some chipped paint here and there), but nothing too serious. The pillows were a bit hard.

Beautiful property with good views, a stunning pool area, large and charming old-style rooms. Extremely helpful multilingual staff. Good, varied breakfast by Italian standards.

Hotel located on a hill, therefore walking was a little hard, breakfast in another building.

Friendly staff, comfy room (better look than on pictures), wonderful view of Tuscany, varied breakfast (scrambled eggs were a suprise for us :)), near restaurant with tasty food and good prices. Great place to explore the Tuscany :)

The hotel is very well situated and it is in reality a lot nicer than it looks on the Booking.com description & photo's. OK, it's up for some renewal here and there but nothing to complain about. ALL the personal is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I need to use the word 'awesome'. I'm a frequent traveler and such enthusiasm and customer kindness is striking (eclatante) ! The beds are really good. The breakfast is a feast.

A wonderful restored old castle in the countryside near Siena, the village of Poggibonsi a few kilometers away. Good breakfast and cozy breakfast room, also outdoor tables. Cozy restaurant with great views, good portions. Cozy pool area. The rooms have good beds and cooling air conditioning. Friendly and helpful staff. This accommodation can be recommended.
