Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Indonesiathe location is within 5km from the coast, it has everything. room are perfect, bathroom is super spacious. it has it own parking lot and also super complete breakfast. flawless check-in, they gave us our own gate key to the facility. the owner itself is very friendly though we had language barrier. the place is very clean and well-maintained. there is a small swimming pool so its like a villa indeed. great for couples, families or group of friends. it has (paid) washing machine facility too. nothing is bad when staying in this place.

We have stayed in many hotels, Willa Tonia is in no way inferior to a hotel of the rank ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏨🌴 Beautiful garden, everything kept impeccably clean 🧹 The breakfasts served deserve special attention, if - the highest class. Local cheeses and cold cuts, such as "tagliere di salumi e Formaggi"🧀🥩 in the restaurant :)) Delicious fruits and desserts 🍉🍌🍰 At the end of the day you can cool off and relax in the swimming-pool 🏊🏽♂️🦦 Melo the cat visited us every day 🐈⬛🐾😊 For the first time on Booking, the facility exceeded our expectations. The owners were very hospitable and friendly.

RomaniaFor us the breakfast schedule was a bit early (7am -9 am) but we managed and was not disappointed.
Everything was great, very clean, the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. The staff and the owners were really nice and helpful. Really liked the breakfast menu, a lot of options, with local products. The garden was really heavenly, enjoyed every minute of it.

United States of AmericaNothing other than we had to leave as our trip came to an end :(
We loved that it was isolated and yet very proximal to a large variety of beautiful cities. Our host were more than accommodating…wonderful overall, I can’t speak well enough of them.

SloveniaThe bed was a little old and unsupportive for my taste.
The garden is a oasis in the middle of fields where you can relax and fill up your energy. We felt welcome and being well taken care of. Villa Tonia also offers great breakfast, good positioning to visit towns like Ostuni, Monopoli and Bari.

LuxembourgThe breakfast was definitely an item to improve. We were expecting local products and fresh bread and juices, and had a pretty basic and cheap option. We were charged for the babycot, which is quite unusual.
Beautiful location, villa decoration and swimming pool. We had access to the kitchen, which was very handy to prepare our baby meals, and keep food in the fridge.

NetherlandsThe negative experiences started right away upon arrival around noon. We instantly didn't feel welcome. The manager, who didn't speak any English, responded like a dog protecting his territory. Although ETA was announced, he tried to send us away. A welcome very unlike any review we read. He finally allowed us to leave our luggage. He made an attempt explaining all hotel rules aggressively. We only understood two; shower before using the pool and don't touch anything at the breakfast. And about the breakfast; it was poor. It was supposed to be served outside at the pool area, which never happend. We read great reviews about it, but were disappointed as it mostly consisted of factory made individually wrapped food, like waffles, crackers and juice boxes. Coffee was served from a thermos and not very good. No eggs or fresh juices. Actually, nobody serving anything and hardly anything fresh. Our room was supposed to have a view of the garden and pool area, and a kitchen. As the b&b has no restaurant, breakfast ends at 9 am and it is a 15 minute ride from town, you really need a kitchen. Then our view. There was one tiny 30x50 cm window and the only view we had was a palm treestem and nothing else. We contacted Booking and Vila Tonia admitted their mistakes. They convinced Booking they'd allow us access to another kitchen. In reality this 'access' meant giving us a thermos of warm water and 2 wine glasses. Then the pool area ..... it didn't offer any parasols, as if they purposely wanted to discourage guests from using the pool area for a longer time. It was >35 degrees all week: impossible to lie on a poolbed without a parasol. We couldn't match our experience with all the positive reviews. However, we noticed that a big part of the b&b, including kitchen, was claimed by the manager’s daughter and her family.
Let’s start by sharing the positive parts of our experience at Villa Tonia…having said that, unfortunately we also have serious negative parts to share. First of all, the villa itself and the sites are beautiful and well kept. Our accomodation was pretty and very clean. We got clean towels daily and our sheets were changed regularly. Villa Tonia is situated about 4 kilometers from a nice small town, Fasano, which offers some excellent and affordable restaurants with good food and wine. That is the summary of the positive part of our experience at Villa Tonia.

QatarEverywhere was only accessible by car (the nearest restaurant, shop etc), the beds were not super comfortable and the pool was not chilled. But this was not a train smash, more just what we should have checked beforehand.
I enjoyed the breakfast, it was very fresh and delicious. The facility was rustic Italian and set along a quiet road of vineyards

Czech RepublicRoom which we had was small, there was no place to store our luggage. Window was not easy to reach and overall the room was dark. Bed was noisy, rumbling due to each body move. There is a railway nearby, so sleep is interrupted by the trains. Bathroom was same size as the room (disproportional), but no shower, just a bath. Kitchen was mentioned as part of the facility, but closed perhaps of COVID regulations.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately not commanding any English. Very nice garden, pool and villa from outside. Breakfast was great and staff was flexible to handle our early departure.
