Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The cleaning staff was at or near the entrance to my room and they were loud, hence i was not able to work quietly and limited privacy as they where sitting out on the pavement. The kitchen i was told was out of service. i believe the breakfast was order out, taste was good however the food was cold and i got season ackee rather than ackee and saltfish.
The front desk person was welcoming and friendly and was very helping. The facilities was good

The only thing I didn't like was the food options.

There was a power cut and the property's generator was inadequate. I was affected because my spouse and I needed to iron our clothes for dinner.Therefore, this impacted my dinner reservation negatively. Going forward I suggest that the generator is serviced, as well as being constantly checked to ensure it's in good condition.
The comfort and calmness of the property. The breakfast was also good. The room design and facilities were quite modern and I appreciated that.

The wifi was consistent however it was never strong enough to do a WhatsApp video call. If I had needed to do things for work other than check e-mails occasionally, this would have been a bigger issue.
Pleased with location, friendly staff, property is gated with security and seems relatively safe and overall a fairly good deal for the price. Rooms and en-suites are nice and during our short trip they were cleaned often. We bought meals from the onsite restaurant daily but they were frequently out of things. Maybe they would do better to curate a daily menu based on availability.

The paint on the walls are stripping and had to ask for additional amenities for which I was told would be available in rooms such as an iron.
I like the options for the complimentary breakfast and the location where I could easily get a taxi to travel to meetings

A kettle and some hot beverage items would have helped us as we had a very early morning appointment. Since there was no to escort us to tge room, written instructions/ information placed in the room would prevent many calls to the front desk. It took us awhile to get the TV channels we wanted.
Located near to our business site. Staff made efforts to please. Felt safe.

Didn't like the cable network that was offered on T.V as the signal always disconnecting causing the screen to go blank. The Pool was a bit disappointing as it didn't seem properly kept suited for me to take a swim during my visit.
The Room ambience was ok and relaxing which would make me feel comfortable in returning. Customer service was very great and pleasant amongst staff towards guest.

For a Villa and the price charged, I would have expected basic amenities like paper towels, dish detergent, coffee mugs, bowls etc. There were literally 2 forks, a few spoons, 1 coffee mug and no bowls. It would have also been nice to have a pot and a coffee maker. Maybe even throw in some water bottles. It is an island after all.
Customer service and breakfast was great. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The staff deserves high praise. From the guard at the gate to the cleaning team. Simply amazing.
