We very much appreciated additional heating in a breakfast room and efficient heating of aircon in the room. Very helpfull and kind staff. Good breakfast. Nice view at the castle.

Someone noted wrong breakfast’s hour for me and according to this mistake ladies from reception woke me up too early in the morning and they couldn’t say a word in english so it was very difficult to explain them that I have ordered breakfast at 10 am instead of 8 am.

The place could be better maintained.

My stay at the Cairwan Hotel was quite pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. I would recommend this hotel for a nice stay.

The bathroom is horrible. The toilet does not really work and the shower curtain is barely functional. The door does not close. It is also really dirty and it has an uncomfortably low ceiling. The beds are what they are, there is one small window so do not expect much air. It is okay for one night, I would not stay for more.

We were 4 tourists in a room with 4 beds. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are rather cheap which is a good value for what you get I guess. The location is very close to the castle about 30 minutes uphill if walking and 5 minutes by car.

If you want to go back to the town centre, you will need to use your car. It is located downtown. Up to you, if you feel hiking all the way up.

Very nice designed hotel, very polite and open staff, good local breakfast. I was there in May, so the rooms were not cold. My room was quiet, although the hotel lies on a main road. A car is highly recommended, even when visiting the castle.

I didn't care for the very steep winding staircase. It didn't feel safe to me. We were grateful that someone was able to take our baggage upstairs for us when we arrived. Other than that, we had NO complaints.

This hotel stay was a pleasant surprise. There was no AC in the room, which I only discovered after checking in. However, as it turns out we didn't need it. With the window open, it was pleasantly cool and the fans in the room worked fine for our needs. The water pressure was GREAT in the shower. The gentleman who checked us in gave us the history of the hotel, and it was fascinating. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning. The dinner was EXCELLENT, and the breakfast was quite good also. The hotel was an excellent value, and I would stay there again.

it was easy to access by car and it has a parking space. also it is close drive to Kerak castle. The room was spacious and we were given an upgrade. Dinner and breakfast were included and it was delicious. Our host was very helpful and welcoming.

Shower head leaked badly, so there was water on the floor in front of the sink.

Owner spoke very good English; the hotel is on the road out of town, so you need a car to get up to the castle, but the owner quickly arranged for a car and driver to take me up there for 1.5 JD (you can walk back down to the hotel in half a hour, but be careful as there is no sidewalk on part of the walk next to the highway); no air con in the room, but staff provided a fan, which worked well. I had an interior room which was very quiet. Hotel is 10 minutes walk to the bus station on the road out of town.

Pleasant, helpful, and efficient staff members! Thank you to everyone we encountered! Convenient location in Karak and its Castle. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking for a vehicle is available. Breakfast and dinner are available upon request; and, the cost was reasonable. If you are staying in Karak for the night, then you should consider this hotel.

Big room, separated from the main building (as stated in other reviews) so it was very calm. The staff was very attentive and the food amazing with huge quantities.

Nice hotel, clean with very good attention. Rooms are big and clean though quite basic, but with a refrigerator which is important. Close to the main attraction Kerak castle. Arranged dinner was very good and abundant. Breakfast was ok, but not as good as the dinner.

A homey, cozy atmosphere, the manager is very helpful, but he should have staff that speaks English. I have been here 4 times, it is my "go to place" when I am in Karak.

The entry to our room was out of the main part of the hotel. It had a little bit of basement feeling but I’m sure they will make it better for the future and it will be perfect.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We decided to stay for diner as there is offer in the property. Food was lovely and the portions were massive. The room was great.
