The hotel could be cleaner. Old rooms and bathrooms. Noisy street.

The price was reasonable, good location in the city centre.

The additional costs for tours could have been clearer. For example, the Dead Sea drip was 25JOD each but there is a further cost of 25JOD for the hotel we used to change and eat in, the trip also stops at the river Jordan where you can pay 12JOD to see Jesus' Baptism Site.

The staff were super helpful with any queries and always very friendly. We got exactly what we expected for what we paid. The tours were enjoyable and sharing them with people from the hotel was also nice as they were like minded travellers. The location is perfect as you are a two minute walk from the amphitheatre, and also very close to the Citadel and downtown. As a 21 year old travelling with my girlfriend I would highly rate the safety of the area and the opportunities to use this Hotel as a hub for day trips.

that said, they should not advertise cable/tv when the devices are trashy, disconnected, and the power cables for the tv do not work. my advice is to remove this feature entirely (who watches “tv” any more?) And invest in high speed internet since people have their own devices already. the internet worked but was a bit slow.

staff are extremely helpful and courteous. offered to help order food to the hotel for dinner. held our bags and allowed us to shower late afternoon after checkout. very responsive to messages. offered to book taxi at JOD25, which is reasonable compared to others especially concerning the vehicle was all leather and very clean. another taxi we had used for a short trip within Amman offered for 15 JOD, but we had already paid. and we were not disappointed with the service. for the price this was a good deal with the impeccable service and very good breakfast. they also provided towels and soap, which was unexpected but nice! water was hot, I assume due to the sun heating it all day.

Amazing chance to have it through this magnificent old hotel, the staff was great handling also the price was very accepted based on the location of the hotel which is exactly in the middle of down town, try it if you want to express an old historical hotel, give it a go and do not hesitate 👌

The stairs, but we were travelling light. Easy to cope.

Pros: location, front desk, good breakfast Cons: no elevator, some rooms have shared bathroom You cant beat the location. Excellent to walk around, good restaurants, you are in downtown so many places to drink coffee, eat on the street, do a schwarma tour or buy clothes. I cant complain about the rooms because I wasnt even there, so many things to do around.

This issue did not concern me but if you were sensitive to night time noise and the call to prayer, you would have to counter this possible disturbance. In my unit, the shower and toilet are combined much like on a small boat and care needs to be taken in drying the floor to reduce the slippery surface. The entrance to the hotel is slightly tricky to find being a narrow glass door which does not face the street. Even the Taxi driver struggled to initially find the hotel due in part to the limited signage and the entrance is not obvious till you are essentially standing right by it. Not a problem but just be aware and have time and patience to find it on the first time. The wifi is basically limited to the reception area at least from the room that I was in and the night time staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Payment is preferred in cash rather than on a card which was not a problem but needed to get the cash from an ATM in due course.

Great location and an ideal base to explore Amman and Jordan. Very helpful staff who arranged a great "in House " trip to the North and East of Amman and a local walking tour which were all great value. Good breakfast to start the day. Helpful in being able to leave baggage during the day while shifting to another location and a good laundry service near by. The aircon worked.

A lot of steps and a little hard to take a shower in the shared small bathrooms, but it worked out so fine.

If you don't have high demands and can live in an old building with the standards that it provides, this place is really suitable! A nice breakfast, kind staff/owner and very central to everything downtown. There's parking 7min walk from the hotel. Be aware of a lot of noise from the streets (honking horns, traffic, police ect), but thats how it is in downtown. It was as clean as I could get, thinking of the old property.

Checkout time is 10 am which is a little aggressive in my opinion. typically we see 11 or 12. we also flew into Amman via Luxor and our Luxor to Cairo flight was delayed by over 3 hours this making us miss our connection from Cairo to Amman so we had to fly the next morning. we booked an airport pickup but because the airports in Egypt don’t have wifi I wasn’t able to communicate that. we were charged for 3 nights still (even though we missed the first although i feel this is fair and I expected to pay for the missed night) but also we were charged for 2 airport pickups which I wasn’t expecting so that was a little disappointing. also I think you can get a taxi from the airport for 15 JD compared to the hotel rate of 27 JD.

our stay here was excellent. the rooms were clean and the bathroom had the best shower on our trip so far (previously we were in Egypt). for those who complain about the noise, we had zero issues. one cannot expect to have no noise and also an excellent location. it was also far quieter than both of our stays in Egypt. they cleaned our room which I was not expecting and that was a nice touch. the breakfast was also unreal. overall we would 100% stay here again.

This hotel is in the very centre od Amman, which is very cool. There was a very nice breakfast and we would recommend the extra cost. You need to be careful to park your car at nearby parking lot as in no time you get a ticket and it is not exactly cheap. We would highly recommend guided tour, which is offered by hotel. He took us literally everywhere important in the walking distance (took him almost 2 hours), share bits and bobs from history and culture, was happy to answer our more or less silly questions and often stopped to talk with some friends at the market, who then let us try some of their products before deciding to buy. It was one big maze from markets and narrow streets and we were sometimes not sure, whether we can go back and find the place on our own later on (but we did) – like the little food court, where we got the best bread most likely in whole Jordan. Even our kids were thrilled (and they are not much of walkers). It left us with better understanding of how things work in Jordan and was a big part of the feeling we carried home … that we should go back some day soon. Bad WiFi reception in the upper floor and in the room. It can be a little noisy because you are too close to the main avenues.

The location is just perfect, all attractions and places to visit are really close. At the same time for the same principle of being close to everything, the place could be a little noisy for some people. The staff were great and so helpful, they helped me to get a private tour to some close by attractions and as well to hire a fair an safe taxi to bring me to Petra, the place is a little old but really clean and breakfast was great. I totally recommend this place if you are traveling solo and you like to be close to the action.

we arrived at Jordan Towers at 9:30 pm, they said there was a problem with electricity and that they would transfer us to another hotel 7 minutes away. the other hotel was the Arabesque Hotel 1 mile away from downtown. The staff were great here, very helpful and kind. I cant leave feedback on arabesque because of the way booking.com works.
