    “We had the room with the private bath. This was the highlight for us. Comfortable beds. Delicious in room drinks were provided. The included dinner and breakfast were incredible! We were very full. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Overall was a brilliant stay. The family asked to stay for 1 more day but alas our itinerary meant we had to move on.”

    “I have stayed in a number of Ryokans, this one was clean and well kept. We had a lift to the Monkeys Communication in preparation was excellent The Onsen was clean and a very good standard The lady who ran this was very pleasant, she had minimal English, but was willing to try, thankyou”

    “Excellent ryokan with large rooms and service. Helpful staff, wonderful traditional breakfast and dinner. The ryokan has two onsens in different styles (modern and old) with indoors and outdoors springs. Traditional clothes are provided. Located relatively close to the Wild snow monkey park.”

    “Great hotel with fabulous onsen (both the room/private and the hotel guests onsen). Spacious and clean room and wonderful roof top bar experience. Staff at dinner, breakfast and at the roof top were an absolute dream of kindness and professionalism. During the private dinner the chef came to prepare the sushi by our table which was incredible. The food was absolutely exquisite using local produce and prepared and presented with such a delicacy as I've never seen before! What a treat! Walking distance from the station but possible to get a ride from the hotel (need to ask them in advance). A great place to stay!”

    “Room was traditional and beautiful, great location to experience the onsens and the snow monkey park, with a helpful free drop off. We had breakfast and coffee in the restaurant and it was really nice. Staff were so helpful, especially the lady at breakfast :) One of our favourite experiences in Japan!”
