How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Small hotel but with all the required necessities. The hotel is close enough to go walking from Hiroshima station if you have a light baggage. Is close to some shoppings malls and close enough to go to several tourist places walking. Breakfast was nice.

The walls are thin so I could hear my neighbour speaking and taking bath.
The amount of amenities they provide you with is amazing! They have almost everything you need, but still you can ask for some specific things. Breakfast was good.

Hotel was halfway between the train station and peace park. Close to shopping areas so there was plenty of places close by to get something to eat.

Nothing really.
Perfect location, tram stop outside hotel with trams to station and Peace Park running often. Breakfast available. Room small but aware beforehand and we just made space for our luggage.

The staff were exceptional. I left my phone in a taxi which the driver returned to the hotel. I had already moved on to Kyoto. The staff arranged to courier my phone to me via Black Cat the next day. I am so appreciative of this, all my photos, holiday memories, contacts and everything else are on the phone. Thank you so much for the excellent service and help in getting my phone to me. I cannot praise the staff enough, this is 10 out of 10 service

The room was small, fortunately we had 2 small luggage however it was difficulty to leave them open during the stay as the space is limited (we were aware of the room size). The room was not properly clean, under the bed there is a lot of dust like they never clean there.
The location was good; you have a family mart next to hotel, tram stops in front of it and it is located at 15/20 min walking distance from the main attraction.

The space of the room was mean to be, in my opinion, for people who have a short stay. We stayed 2 nights so it was okay but is something to consider.
Everything that you can expect from an hotel meet up the expectations, the room, the bathroom, etc. The location was nearby to public transport and also tho 24/7 stores. The staff was really kind to us.

There is not a particular view. There is construction just in front of the window.
Clean, convenient with great access. The bus stop and citycar stop are right in front of hotel! And there is convince store right beside it! I had a pleasant stay and highly recommend!

As soon as we walked in the hotel, it smelled faintly of cigarette smoke (possibly due to the smoking room located right at the entrance); but the rooms were clean and it didn't really bother us as much.
The location was very central and super close to everything I wanted to do and go to in Hiroshima. The train and markets were right outside the hotel. It definitely is a little outdated but after staying in hostels in other cities, it was nice to have a private space with a comfortable bed in a pretty spacious room!

I think most rooms have no actual street views, and the hotel is slightly old (but clean and all amenities functioning).
Great location. Right in front of the hotel is a tram station that brings you to all the top tourist spots or shopping areas. Front counter staff were awesome and super friendly. Super helpful.
