However, my experience was marred by a maintenance issue. The bidet in the bathroom was broken, and despite notifying the staff, they were unable to repair it. Although they offered to change our room, it was already late in the evening, and we were exhausted from a day of exploring the city. With plans to check out the next day, we declined the offer. This incident highlights the importance of thorough equipment checks during check-in. Guests shouldn't have to deal with malfunctioning amenities, especially when it disrupts their stay. In conclusion, while Garden Hotel Kanazawa boasts a convenient location and satisfactory cleanliness, there's room for improvement in ensuring all facilities are in proper working order. With better attention to maintenance, it has the potential to offer a more seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Located right across from the JR station, Garden Hotel Kanazawa offers a convenient stay for travelers exploring the city. While the hotel may be old, it maintains a commendable level of cleanliness and adequacy. During my stay, I found the accommodations to be satisfactory. The room, though showing signs of age, was clean and provided enough comfort for a good night's rest. The breakfast, while not exceptional, offered a decent selection to start the day.

Not really a complaint, just know the shower will leak onto the vanity. Be careful not to place items there.

The hotel is right near the station and easy to find. Checkin was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a varied selection and very delicious. Room had toiletries that I made use of.

Some of the rooms are bit outdated.

Very good hotel with great breakfast, it is very near the Kanazava station. The rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is helpful. One of my friends got a bad room (wasn't properly cleaned) at first, but the staff solved the problem very fast.

At breakfast “non Japanese guests “ had to sanitise hands before entering the breakfast room, which made us feel a bit “unwanted”.

The hotel position is great, just in front of Kanazawa station. You can walk to the main attractions or you can take the bus it's very easy. The hotel was simple and clean.

A little disappointment that it doesn't have a local onsen which I can enjoy around the hotel vicinities .

The location is excellent which is right in front of JR Kanazawa station where there are so many shops & eateries that you can shop & eat without any problem. Also , bus terminal is 2 minutes walking distance away from the hotel where you can take most city buses to anywhere of the city. The famous Omicho market of Kanazawa is only one bus stop away where you can enjoy many varieties of fresh sea foods from local areas.

Air conditioner can not adjust temperature but if you open the window the temperature is really perfect for me.

The bed is really comfortable , I sleep really well. Staffs are helpful and polite to me. The breakfast is really amazing , there are lot of choices. Location is really easy to find and close to station.
