Decor is a bit outdated, I kind of like the vibe but if you are expecting modern or fancy decor then its not...! The onsen wasn't again the fanciest looking, was a little out of date...but nice that they had one. It is quite a distance from the station and the lake so expect to hire bikes/car or take taxis to get around, all the famous sights are not walking distance to each other or the hotel. Other than that its pretty much perfect and one of our favorite places we visited on our holidays.

The most incredible view looking directly at Mount Fuji in all its glory, hotel room was large and comfortable and ideal for a family (we are 3 but 4 would have been fine too) set out like a small apartment with good balcony...hotel was walking distance from convenience stores and a small shopping mall and a short taxi ride to station or lake in opposite direction - we actually walked back from the lake as weather was so nice its a long walk but easy and pleasant to do if you have time and enjoy the exercise. Nice little gift shop in foyer, we didn't eat at the hotel so no idea what the food is like. Courtesy bus took us back to station end of our stay, which was so helpful.

Only a small gripe about paying for washer and dryer, but was a treat to have them in hotel.

The hotel is lovely, our favourite so far! Twin room huge with amazing view of Mt Fuji. Staff friendly and sweet. Facilities excellent. Soo affordable.

Everything was good, nothing to complain about, , just wish they had more shuttle hours .

Distance from restaurants n shops. But the hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the train station.

Guests are required to call the hotel to request for shuttle bus pickup at Kawaguchiko Station (instead of a regular pickup schedule) and it takes around 10min for the bus to arrive. While the waiting time is not long, the temperature at Kawaguchiko Station could be very low (0 or below 0 degrees celsius) especially during windy periods.

This hotel has very good views of Mt Fuji and the deluxe room is relatively large when compared to other hotel rooms in Japan. Breakfast options are ok and there is a shuttle bus to ferry hotel guests to and fro Kawaguchiko Station and Fuji Q.

dinner were excellent; breakfast was Ok. Fujisan couldn't be seen as the days were rainy.

The free shuttle ends too early. With the public bus timing ends early, customers are forced to take the expensive taxi ride back to hotel(hotel location are too far away from the visitor hotspots)

It was our second stay at the hotel. We chose it again as it has a splendid view of Mount Fuji, and its rooms are spacious and can accommodate easily a group of three-four people. The hotel has its own onsen, its facilities are clean. This time around, we especially appreciated kaiseki dinner served by the hotel restaurant - Jukai. The meals were delicious and different every day. They were a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine. The staff were also welcoming and friendly.

Central heating was a little bit too warm at night for sleeping, I opened a little bit of balcony door for better ventilation. Pillows were a bit too small and hard but manageable. Everything else was nice.

Great location. Mount Fuji view from room is magnificent. Clean. Staff is polite and helpful, able to give good recommendations on local restaurants. Onsen facility is nice and clean.

Only slightly inconvenience is the shuttle in mornings is every 30 mins interval. If the mini van us full or just left, you would have to wait for it to turn around. So plan your trip in advance.

Room was spacious. We woke up to a beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our room balcony. Hotel is a distance from Kawaguchi Station but hotel provides free shuttle services which makes up for the inconvenience. There's also a mall with a supermarket about 15 mins walk from the hotel. We has dinner at hotel for both nights of our stay and they were very good. Thumbs up to the chef.

It would be perfect if it had a small kitchenette too. It was an old hotel that used keys to access the room. Felt a little unsafe, but it was just me. I also wished they had English channels on TV.

The room was big and comfortable. It had 2 huge sofas and a dining table so we could have our snacks and drinks. Bedroom was separated so it was almost like a home. 👍🏻 breakfast was just perfect to start the day.

The hotel still uses the key to open and lock the room's door.

Thankfully, the nostalgia feel doesn't translate into old and falling apart. The room is exceptionally big (4 twin beds in 1 room), the room is clean and neat, and the style of the furniture can tell that it has a history. The hotel room provided an unobstructed view of Japan's sacred mountain, Mt Fuji.
