Hotel breakfasts in Japan are not suited to European tastes. It would be nice if you could order cooked eggs. The croissants were amazing and the fruit was so delicious!

Rooms are small. No wardrove or drawers for clothes. There is not much selection for breakfast. Out of two coffee machines, only one was working with long queues to get a cup of coffee.

The hotel is in a great location, near to the shops, restaurants and subway station. Room was very clean.

The room was definitely smaller than I thought it was going to be, so it takes some dancing around the other person you're staying with if you're in their double room.

The hotel location was awesome. Perfectly located directly opposite 7-Eleven, as well as super close walking distance to a Family Mart and a Lawson. The hotel staff were beyond kind and helpful and made leaving my luggage with them before check-in super easy. There's also a super easy machine for checking-out too! Their bed was super cosy and I had a great nights sleep there!

Breakfast could have been better for the price

Great location, minutes away from the subway a few stops up from Kyoto station, and the 7/11 across the street was very handy. Loved the room with the little sofa area, it was a great space for us 3 mates to hang out.

This is a hidden gem in Kyoto. Its close to the main shopping area, the Nishiki market and a subway station. The public onsen is an added bonus.

The internet in the room was pretty bad, which was kinda annoying as one would assume a hotel of this caliber would have good internet.

Great hotel, but as it should be since it is a 4 star hotel. The staff was really helpfull and the room was nice. It also has a nice public bath area, and we tried the hotell breakfast buffet one of the days. Overall a good experience.

The public bath is not clean. There are many noisy guests. If the cleaner can check and do more regularly rubbish bin clean would be great

The spa / public bath area was crowded and not as beautiful as I imagined. Room wasn’t marvelous. But was ok.

There is no coin laundry. We accidentally left something after we checked out and nobody contacted us.

Everything was amazing! Friendly and heplfull staff, convinient (a little bit small) rooms, tasty tea and coffee in the room, quality hygiene supplies. Breakfast was excellent in the dining room with viewview of the designer garden, tasty local food and drinks, even apple vinegar for healthy. Convinient location, there is subway across the road and many small restaurants and cafes near the hotel

Similar to other hotels in Japan, the staff answers questions exactly as asked, does not think outside the box to elaborate or offer suggestions or advice of what to do, what to see in the area. Perhaps, this is because we were speaking English, not Japanese. However, everyone is very nice and respectful.
