The property was modern and hip. I like that they have music each night and drinks upon your arrival. I love their location to station.

Drainage in bathroom wasn't great, flooded floor, don't leave clothes on the floor if your going to take a bath. Beds are cheapish spring beds and not as comfortable. Pillows are small.

Location is great! Close to major station and shopping. Free drink and very nice lobby and entertainment. Laundry and public bath. Room was on the larger size and air purifier and air conditioning worked great. Room looked and felt very nice. Balcony.

The variety and quality of the breakfast was fantastic. My favourites have to be the French toast and the Kiwi and Mango smoothie - absolutely delicious. Lovely bar area with a fire pit, and we enjoyed the free drinks every evening. The location near the main Kyoto station was perfect. The staff were lovely.

two washing machines were fully occupied by guests. and needs to take long queue to wait for our turns as it was self-service. dryer has 4 units; so not so much of an issue.

Good breakfast with variety of tasty food. Love the free welcome drink each night of stay. Spacious room at reasonable price and close to kyoto stn. Bath tub equipped and room was sound proof from any noise from outside.

Lobby and common areas are great. Check in and checkout process was smooth. Location close to the station is very convenient

Main entrance is very difficult to find and lack of directional signs. Mattress needs replacement for room 1321. The coils were broken and uncomfortable to sleep. Dinner is not worth the money.

Pillows weren't comfortable but we did not mention it to reception so didn't give them the opportunity to rectify. We chalked it up to experiencing Japan.

Loved the hotel. Location was really convenient for Kyoto Station. Had dinner the first night in the restaurant and thought quality and value for money was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful with much better English than my Japanese. Loved the communal area, which was in use even during the rain. The fire pit was a lovely touch. They have a public bath on site and didn't blink at a single tattoo, though more ink may pose a concern. Would happily go back the next time we're in Kyoto.

Rooms are a bit dated and humid. They could do with a touch up.

The building has an open courtyard with fireplaces and cozy areas to sit and chat to other travelers. They offer a free drink every day which is a nice touch. Great location behind the station, and very quiet at night. Room size was ok, and we had a good size balcony.

The location - situated on the opposite side of Kyoto station to most places I wanted to visit, although I really liked the outdoor feel of the layout and accommodating staff and facilities.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant to interact with, also very attentive.

Not much that I didn't like about this hotel. Overall great.

Amenities, the massage chair and the public bath houses. These made the stay worth it. There's live music almost everyday and that was very enjoyable. Free drinks around the hotel was also a great touch. Staff speaks great English, very easy to communicate.

Everything was perfect. The location was close to a Kyoto station, but just far enough away to avoid traffic noise. The food was excellent, including the breakfast buffet, and was all food and drinks were reasonably priced..Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended.

It was 5 min away from the Kyoto station., that really helped moving around. We liked their complimentsry drink every afternoon . We love the hot pool, it was wonderful after walking the entire day.The staff was very friendly.

Beautiful design, the rooms are bigger than the average, the staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, wide variety of food. The hotel is very clean and has a comforting environment.

Slight weird smell in the room, and no coffee in the room. You had to go to the coffee bar in the lobby to make a free one if you wanted one

Near Kyoto Station. Free alcoholic drink each evening. Lovely restaurant on site. Great onsen and spa, and lovely massage chairs. Onsen is typical Japanese onsen, with Japanese customs, but I lucked in and had it all to myself each time. Many options for hair and skin products to use free of charge

Lack of outlets in the room left a bit to be desired. Would spend more time outside of the room rather than inside.

Location was perfect because it was so close to the train station. Ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. Also loved the free drink each evening! Staff were also very friendly. I would stay here again!
