Food options for vegans/vegetarians isn’t really great. First 3 nights were buffet dinner and that was good with several options for us, but last 3 nights were set menu with one vege option and they weren’t the best and portions were small. Would also prefer earlier dinner time as well, as it starts at 7:30.

Loved the calm vibe, location and friendly staff. Perfect for relaxing around the pool, reading and just enjoying the moment.

Highly disappointed was the activity promoted by the Hotel (snorkeling, Dolphins Incl lunch), One hour trip to the harbor by car. Highly overcharged (120usd ), we still decided to go for it- since it was recommend by the Hotel and we expected the money to be used to get proper payment to the involved people of the trip (driver, boat owner etc) as well a lunch in a suitable restaurant fitting the charged of 120USD/Person. Nothing of that was fulfilled. Checked TripAdvisor afterwards reg. the "restaurant" and ive never seen such poor rating, and we can just confirm that unfortunately (Wasini Island). Using the name of the Hotel and guests paying in confidence that they had taken good care of the people involved in the activity they promoted in the name of the hotel as well the level of place for lunch for that kind of charge!- That really maid us feel bad! The best part was anyway the chauffeur that was knowledgeable and driving safely. Would instead recommend to discuss with the Locals for an arrangement (and pay just a portion of what hotel charged us) then you know cash is paid to someone that need them as well your expectations will be on a more adequate level to meet reality vs what you pay for.

breakfast was very good. Fresh and plenty of options to choose from. Coffey we just asked for 1 Americano +1 espresso= good level of taste and strength suitable for us. We also had Dinner included that was also with good daily variations. It was Very convenient to have this included I must say, since you need a car to move between places not able to walk due to safety reason. The Bungalow was large and good equipped. It was fresh and clean and a nice terrace overlooking the garden and the ocean. Appreciated that Tips was not part of the "deal" for the Hotel employees - Instead we understood they shared payout once a month based on reviews from the customers - That we felt was a very good initiative by the Hotel and the employees were really supporting, showed us always a smile and a helping hand.

The property is excellent. But........ Transfers felt expensive. Also we did a tour to Wassini island, good view of dolphins and amazing coral but driver half an hour late, then went shopping for water, forty minute wait for tickets for the boat. No refreshments on the boat and the swimming was rushed as we’d wasted so much time. Nice authentic Kenyan lunch but the restaurant was very basic. This was booked through the resort ($120 pp) but they didn’t seem engaged with it. A tour only fit people could manage. Tours sold through the resort need to be better explained up front and managed effectively.

Very nice property, well maintained with lovely gardens. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room well equipped and clean. Very good food, both breakfast and lunch. The hotel offers everything for an enjoyable stay at the beach.

Drinks were a bit pricey.

The environment was serene, amplified by it being an adults-only hotel. The food options were good, with the menu leaning mostly Italian. The property had direct access to the beach.

The bed could have been softer. Please note this seems to be an issue everywhere in Kenya. That's it we loved OVC and will be back!

We had the great pleasure of staying at OVC for one week and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff, on the whole property, is the number one reason why this resort shone for us. Their smiles, kindness and overall warmth and willingness to make you happy, was truly remarkable and so appreciated. A special Thank You to Sumaiya, Singtra, Mwanarusi, Richard, Johnson, Ali ( security guard) and Achmed, who greeted us each morning with a smile and a beach towel. What an incredible team. ❤️ The property is stunning- lush tropical gardens, fabulous location, beautiful beach, tranquil surroundings, and clean large rooms! Food- Thank you Ahmed for providing us with incredible dinners! I had the BEST grilled lobster ever! You have to try the pizzas, margaritas and perhaps a cheeseburger. Breakfast - everything you could possibly want but go for the crepes...delicious! Pool Area- SHADE. There was lots of shade if you wanted it and I was so thankful for that. The sun beds ( many) were large and extremely comfortable. The pool was clean and refreshing. It was our first time here, but we truly hope to return. Many thanks and warm hugs from Canada. The dining chairs definitely need getting used to, not so comfortable. Lunch menu a bit overpriced.

The staff was extremely welcoming, sweet and always ready to help. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are basically no insects/mosquitoes on the property. Food was good. The beach looks beautiful but there is quite a lot of seaweeds around so probaby need to take a boat for a nicer cleaner swim.

Making men wear trousers in oppressive heat in the evening made a delicious dinner uncomfortable. Instead of having a leisurely time, I couldn’t wait to get back to my room. Why have men in trousers when women were wearing shorts and t-shirts?

It is a beautiful luxury hotel, beautifully situated in a tropical garden that is well kept by nice gardeners, there are cute monkeys in the garden :) The room is super spacious and beautifully decorated, there is also a beautiful pool in the garden. This place is so relaxing I'm so sorry I had to leave 😞 also staff is great, nothing is a problem for them, customer service is on a high level. It should be noted that I didn't know I should pay less as a single person staying in a room but the staff was honest (especially thanks to the concierge) and gave me back the balance. Highly recommended - stay there when in Diani beach.

If there had been a Spa facility rather than going to another property that would have been a great bonus and well worth paying for. Approaches on tipping led to a bit of familiarity that is human nature and difficult to control. Without very little exception the staff were excellent and the General Manager does a fine job.

All was excellent. Helpful staff determined to make their guests happy. Great location secluded and private. Although adults only there is no monitoring of guests. Some were impolite which was terribly unnecessary.

Lunch from the menu was very average, definitely not worth the price. There is no non-alcoholic wine, beer selection at the bar. Surprised the bar couldn't offer fresh coconuts. There is no body cream or hair conditioner in the bathroom.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and with a great view. Very comfortable sunbeds on the beach.

The property was clean and very well managed. One of us got unwell and Ahmed and his team treated us so well. The food was good quality and I would go there again and again. Sini Omar was a delight at the concierge’s desk and Christiana cleaned our room to our liking. I highly recommend this resort and will visit again.
