United States of AmericaWould have liked an upstairs room to view the ocean, instead of the green fence that blocked the ocean. The shower was hand held, prefer a standing shower, the bathtub was too narrow, one of the bathroom lights was naked (without a shade), and the sink counter was chipped. For the money paid, these un-attended to details were not took away the value of the room.
Being close to the beach was great, and the swimming pool was amazing.

United KingdomWe run into a problem at check in because we paid for something the couldn’t deliver and it was swished under the rug rather than communicated . The refund has to be requested and pushed for and the management did not seem to care at all. We spoke to them several times and the refund has only been processed now, more than 2 weeks after check out.
We had a great stay at the Papillon which was mainly due to the extremely helpful service and bar staff, big thank you to Saif form the restaurant , Joseph from the bar and Aisha from the diving Center .

United KingdomNo stoney tangawezi (ginger drink). In the daytime only 1 bar open to get drinks, as 2 of our party were older this meant quite a walk for them to the bar to get a drink. For someone younger this is not a problem at all as it's not that far. No water dispensers to fill up your own bottle - this had to be done by staff at the bar area. An idea for guests walking along the beach would be to supply beach bags/baskets for people to collect up rubbish from the beach - have seen this in other hotels in the area and it's a great idea to keep the beach clean and tidy.
Our third time staying here. Lots of the same friendly and helpful staff. We love the huge pool and swim up bar. The food options were good, always plenty of choice and fresh food coming out all the time. The staff at meal times bring you your drinks and were fantastic. BBQ night was great and the breakfast options are really good. The beach is stunning and the step access to the beach is excellent. The rooms are big, clean and airy with aircon and fan. Mosquito nets in the room and toiletries provided and a bottle of water each day. Many thanks to Joseph, Raphael, James, Betty, Anthony and all the staff on front desk, the pool boys, the amazing entertainment team, the brilliant room cleaners, you are all fantastic!!!! See you again next year :)

KenyaAt first, we didn't not get a triple room that we asked for. It was given to us on the second day only. I appreciate staff efforts to get it. The hotel was not too helpful with picking up from the airport. They promised for driver to wait with my name, but no one was there. The internet was really bad. Finally, the hotel needs upgrading. While rooms are nice and comfortable and white clean, bathrooms are old and need full renovation. Air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms. The mattresses on beech lounge chair really dirty ...
The location is very good, the hotel being next to the beech. The rooms are smallish but comfortable. Food was decent.

United KingdomThe rooms need some improvement, especially the bathroom. Ours had a loose sink, grimy taps and plughole. No shelving or anywhere to put anything in the second bathroom. There were wall hangings missing from the walls. The air con was temperamental but there was a ceiling fan. The food, although plentiful, is not good. We have travelled all over and are not fussy but three out of the four of us had an upset stomach during our stay. There is quite a large variety of choice in the buffet, but it is repeated. The included alcohol was poor quality, and we were often served warm wine or beer. Perhaps the hotel was struggling to keep things cool in the particularly hot weather. Four other guests we spoke to had also had an upset stomach. For the price we paid, standards need to be better maintained. The wifi was terrible. It frequently cut out or didn't work at all for hours. Very frustrating with two teenagers! I ended up having to buy data on my phone which is expensive. In this day and age, reliable internet is a must and the hotel need to invest in this more to improve this.
The gardens and pool were well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. The animation team were good during the day to try and encourage guests to take part in games. The location was great with good security. There is an impressive Baobob tree by the pool area, which is worth checking out. Biggest one in Kenya. We liked to see all the monkeys in the grounds and bush babies by the restaurant. The staff tried to chase them away, but it was funny to see the monkeys try their luck to steal things. Evening entertainment included acrobatics, circus performers, dancing, and a masai display, which our teenagers enjoyed.

SloveniaThere are so many Beach Boys, have nothing to do. Perhaps If you give them free meal per day, they could daily clean the beach in front of your hotel for change. So many see grass is not looking nice.

United KingdomThey can improve on the Wi-Fi in the rooms and bring in some live music - may be weekends.
The food was delicious. All the staff were friendly and enjoyed sharing a drink with other guests at the pool bar. Felt like a family. The entertainment group did a good job during the day and evening with a variety of activities that kept everyone entertained especially the kids. Thank you so much. And not forget our brothers’ we kept popping in to our room to steal some sweets - cheeky monkeys. What a great experience we had.

United KingdomI had a few issues with my room in relation to air conditioning, shower breaking whilst I was washing, no WiFi in room and also unexplained bits during the night. When I tried to explained to the room hotel supervisor he was rude to me on two separate occasions and my friend. Room staff were lovely and were kind and polite to me. There appears to be a culture of some staff in particular waiting staff and entertainment staff asking for tips on a number of occasions.
All staff except the senior who overseen housekeeping staff where very polite and made myself and my daughter feel very welcome. The property is in a fantastic location and very close to beach, shops and airport.

Loved the ambiance of this resort. You really felt like you were in a tropical place. Food was good and the staff was always smiling and helpful. I enjoyed the animation events. We arrived very late at the resort but the staff had dinner waiting for us.

KenyaThe air condition of a neighbouring room caused a rather disturbing and loud vibration. I was glad to be given another room - a very quiet one.
I had a wonderful room with fatastic view of the sea. The room design was comfortable and of good taste. The Hotel has very friendly and attentive staff and a good variety of foods. A rather big and clean pool!
