Conveniently located within walking distance of the river and Main Street. Clean room with plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Comfy beds and great AC and a fan too. Staff were friendly and we left our luggage until we were picked up late afternoon. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We also stayed in the smaller room for a night and it was also quite nice but not nearly as nice as the bigger room. No real complaints though, all the rooms were nice

Such a cute guesthouse with really kind staff and a great location. We got the bigger room and it had a balcony and nice bathroom and large bed, well worth the upgrade. Also included free water (hot or cold) from dispensers

We loved everything about Apple guesthouse! we were welcomed warmly and helped with everything. The location is incredible, 1 minutes walk from the Mekong river bank, just a couple of minutes walk from the temples and monasteries. We had a triple room. the beds were super comfy and the room was spotlessly clean with a nice modern bathroom with hot water. We had well functioning aircon, ceiling fan, and fridge. in the room we had an information pack which was excellent- describing how to access all the sights, a walking tour, as well as recommending local restaurants and businesses. There is a lovely shared terrace where you can make tea/ coffee with filtered water to refill your bottles. We also used their laundry service which was very reasonably priced. The location is very near a range of cafes and restaurants, there is something for every budget. we stayed 4 nights - we wanted to stay longer but they were booked out! we highly recommend Apple Guesthouse.

Very friendly & knowledgable staff. A peaceful & relaxing rooftop area with free tea & coffee. Large comfortable room. Very central location, so many cafes & bars, the early morning monks procession, the night market plus the river within a couple of minutes walk.

We had a relaxing & restful stay run by a wonderful friendly family who speak excellent English - we arrived late but the owner helped us settle in and kindly let us sort payment & paperwork once we had showered after our long journey from Phonsavan (9hrs not 6....and very dusty!) The lovely couple were always ready to help with questions & advice, they booked our minivan to Nong Khiaw including tuktuk pick up (3hr journey) and generally a pleasure to chat too An extensive folder is provided in the room with trips & transport options (Slow Boat advice - allow 30 mins in tuktuk to get to the pier, in addition to arriving 1hr before departure time) Nice bathroom, very quiet area and comfortable room, large bed, efficient AC, free water refill and tea & coffee available Saffron Coffee & The Chess have really nice Western breakfasts (Smoothie & Yoghurt bowls were huge!) and great coffee to start the day Short walk to Night Market, can close around 9pm so go early We hired a scooter through them to visit the Kuang Si waterfalls and Buffalo Dairy (whatsapp in advance so they can manage group size - it's fab brushing a friendly Buffalo & ice cream is delicious!) Very quick laundry turnaround in less than a day and the freshest smelling in our SEA trip yet ~ thank you

Do not stay in room number 9. Unfortunately, our room was placed right above a restaurant which would be cooking food from 8am in the morning until 9pm at night. Smoke and cooked food smells would travel into our room and the only way we could get rid of the smell was to tape cling film over the windows and blast the air conditioning to push the smell out. I wasn’t able to dry my hair in the room as the smell was so intense and had to inconveniently do this on the communal balcony. We did ask to move rooms but the guesthouse was fully booked so had to improvise with the cling film. Other than this issue, it would have been a perfect stay!

Jimmy and Nou are the loveliest hosts ever and the rest of the housekeeping staff at Apple guesthouse were amazing. Someone was always available at reception helping the guests and they even helped us book our transfer to the train station. The location is absolutely perfect, nestled away from busier roads and very quiet. We loved the character of the guesthouse and our room and enjoyed the free tea and coffee on the communal balcony.

There was a water leakage on the shower in my bathroom. Apart from that, everything was great.

In overall, our stay was great. The staff are very friendly. The location is very close to the night market and the downtown.

The hosts were really lovely and welcoming. They helped with booking various activities and the train onward to Vang Vieng. It made life a lot easier in Luang Prabang. The location is central and convenient. I liked the terrace area where there is also free tea and water. The room itself was clean and had good working AC and a fan. Definitely would recommend this place.

The room was a little dark to our liking, but that seems to be common in Luang Prabang.

The location was fantastic. Tucked in a little alley right by the river. Close to coffee shops, restaurants, and the alms ceremony. The owners were incredibly attentive and kind! We really felt taken care of.

The room was at the back of the building and very quiet. Comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, lots of hot water. All the family members were great, helping out with whatever was needed. Free bananas in the.reception area. Everything was good, I would stay again.

The owner was wonderful. So helpful and kind. She spoke perfect English and was able to help me sort out the rest of my trip. I felt safe and secure which to me is the most important.

The guesthouse is small, friendly and comfortable. The family on the desk speak varying degrees of English and are all lovely. It's a warmly welcoming place to stay in a terrific location, very close to the fascinating parts of the old town but so quiet. I stayed upstairs in rooms 7 and 8. Room 7 is probably more comfortable and spacious but room 8 has a really wonderful balcony

The receptionist is so so lovely & kind & helpful! They’ve helped us book local restaurants & transport everywhere, talking to people on the phone in Laotian & securing the best deals. The staff make this place amazing. Also the location is fabulous, you walk 2 seconds and you are right by the Mekong. Plus the rooms are lovely, clean & spacious.
