Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe little kids tried the kids club and felt it was too babyish for them, so we didn't make them do it again. I wish there had been some more organized activities and water sports beyond the kids club, which seemed more like daycare for little ones. As a result, my kids were with us perhaps a bit more than I would have hoped. They did make friends with some other children there, though, which was good.
We traveled to Windjammer with our three boys (13, 9, and 7) and got a 2-bedroom villa with a pool, which was perfect. The space and view was gorgeous. The breakfast included was amazing and the other food options were great too (if pricey). The kids loved the water activities and both the beach and pool were great.

United KingdomFood was quite average, but to be expected at an all inclusive hotel
Our apartment was amazing, so spacious and comfortable and so close to walk down to reception / the pool / ocean. Such a great view from our balcony. Really good facilities and loads of sunloungers. Sunrise yoga was lovely. Really nice beach

United KingdomWe met our ambassador on day 1 for 10-15 seconds, I'm not sure why, or what they do, we didn't speak to them again. Pricing in $USD. 110V electrics, American type A/B plug sockets, adapters were provided, however Nespresso machine provided in room is 220V/230V only. Bills with service and tax charges are to be signed for inclusive meals. Additional fees are added at many opportunities, sometimes without transparency: $6 room service fee, $5 cashback fee. A 10% service fee is added to everything automatically. F&B prices are based on 'hotel prices' rather than the value and quality you receive. Cocktails can be hit and miss depending who makes them. A minority of staff do the majority of work. Better management could help divide this more evenly, and provide a more consistent level of service. There are often groups of 3-4 staff members serving a function that 1 member of staff could cover. The secondary lock on the room does not prevent access from outside, and there was no DND function/sign, this is a privacy and security risk. Pools 3 & 4 could do with some maintainance, missing tiles, stained walls, and lighting not working. Requests are often forgotten or ignored, despite multiple reminders I would like to see more local produce: chocolate, coffee, fresh juices, more emphasis on local rums, coconuts. The water took a long time to get hot in the shower / bath / taps. The shower had a fixed position which was not as convenient for washing feet and other hard to reach areas.
Great view from the room. Warm welcome. Friendly staff at reception, John especially so. Easy access to pools / beach / water sports from room. Free watersports, we enjoyed SUP and a peddleboat. Sea hammocks! Great cocktails. Taxis on demand. Good level of housekeeping and turn-down service. Good toiletries, and locally made soaps. WiFi coverage over the whole area, beach, in-the-sea is very impressive and practical. There are some excellent staff who should be recognised and praised/promoted, who work their butts off to give guests a good experience. I would love to visit again.

ColombiaHowever, our initial comfort was marred by an unfortunate oversight: the bed was not as clean as expected, with various hairs found on the sheets. This was a significant disappointment, especially since we had to wait over an hour for housekeeping to resolve the issue. This delay prevented us from taking a much-needed nap before dinner, which was a bit frustrating. The resort, there were some hold-ups. This is understandable, though it did slightly dampen our departure experience.
The welcoming was exceptionally warm, friendly, and professional, setting a positive tone for our visit. A refreshing cold towel upon arrival was a thoughtful gesture, much appreciated after our journey. The room we were allocated was spacious and well-appointed, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

United States of AmericaThe rooms were a bit worn, but the size of them plus the private decks and rooftop make up for it.
The staff is genuinely very nice. The landscaping is gorgeous and even the smaller villas are very spacious and private. It's close to town where there are lots of restaurants. I liked that it was fairly quiet - the opposite of Sandals with their obnoxious music blasting all day and pushy staff.

CanadaThe value for money with dinners and overall quality of dinner menus, even at the "high end" restaurants.
The resort facilities and the beach are absolutely stunning. Super relaxing place, with comfortable, spacious rooms. The breakfast was very good. However, dinners at the on-site restaurants were only ok. Value for money was not there, and food quality wasn't what we'd expect at this caliber of resort. The best meals we had on the island were either at local restaurants or other, nearby resorts.

United Kingdomthe food was very mediocre and way overpriced for the choice and quality we received. The main pool was being refurbished and only 2 of the five restaurants were open in the evening. Understandable as it was quiet but no info was given as to which each night. White wine was a major issue to get and the last 4 nights unless you were a lover of Chardonnay that was all that was on offer. also on our last day there was an 11 hour power cut due to maintenance works being done.
breakfast was well done with good choice and the beach was well laid out and lovely. all the hotel staff were excellent

United KingdomMy only criticism is that the food is bland, not unpleasant but certainly lacking vibrancy.
This is an amazing resort. It is set on a beautiful, sandy bay and immaculately designed and furnished. The buildings are all attractively white-washed (in a style reminiscent of the greek islands) and the interiors are all beautifully designed. The reception area, swimming pools and restaurants all have the wow factor and make for epic posing! But the thing that clinched it for me was how friendly all the staff were, it was as though they had all been given a happy pill. I checked- they hadn't they were all just mega friendly.

United States of AmericaThe shuttle pick up. They didn't come for us a few times that happened.
The place is so beautiful and big. . Luckily, I'm athletic, so walking and literally hiking for me is not a big deal. They do offer shuttle service but sometimes they are so busy at the popular times people eat it's hard to get a quick pick up from the service.. as they say patience is a virtue. if you have a hard time walking or poor health, just hang tight, grab a drink, and wait for the shuttle. You may need a refill or two while waiting..The hospitality is wonderful the men are gentlemen you never need to open or close the shuttle door and they make it clear to you that they are there to take care of you.I personally love that..The food is so tasty full of flavor my favorites we're eating lunch and dinner..breakfast is just breakfast soso..They definitely know how to make amazing drinks..yum! I will return.
