There was really nothing to dislike.

The room was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable. Unfortunately, since we were at the basement level, the view from the room was not as great as we were led to believe, but, except for this, we were very pleased. The hotels reasonably close to the city center and we had no difficulty in reaching the main tourist attractions and the market. We had booked on a half-board basis and both the breakfast buffet as well as the dinner buffet had an extensive selection of local, Indian and Continental dishes. We would especially like to recommend Chef Rukshan, who prepared some excellent omelets for us at breakfast time.

Nice location alongside the river. Good food. We would particularly commend Anuradhapura Bibile for welcoming us to the hotel and dealing with our requirements. Also Shanilka Hiruni, Hostess, and Nissanka, Restaurant Supervisor, for their particular attention to making our meals enjoyable.

Was a beautiful stay. The hotel is beautifully situated on the river side, every morning looking out at the river was peaceful and serene. The breakfast had an abundance of choices! the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The outdoor terrace was beautiful, we wished we have more time to enjoy the space. The decor was really good, the cultural vibe of the city meets modern design.

Excellent facilities. Staff was very attentive. "Anu" made a special effort to ask about our experience, and make sure our needs were met. We were very happy with the restaurant staff. The food was excellent.

Nice for our one night stay. Rooms and beds were comfortable and the pool overlooking the river was beautiful. The rooms have an old school charm and all the ameneties we required were available. Would stay again!

Rooms and bathrooms are spacious but could do with being modernised. Food in the restaurant wasn't particularly good, there was a limited choice and we didn't feel that the quality of the food was adequate which is a shame because the service was excellent. On the contrary, breakfast was great.

The hotel location next to the river was great, not very convenient to get into the city centre but we weren't bothered by that, more interested in the calm and peaceful position of the hotel. The pool was really nice and the attendant was extremely attentive and helpful.

There actually was nothing we did not like.

The property is lovely and the location is stunning. We had 2 rooms with a view of the river. The breakfast buffet was excellent and all the staff were very good and attentive. It was our son’s 16th birthday and they arranged a wonderful surprise cake. The lobby area is a wonderful space where you can relax and play board games with a very good bar. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to all the staff.

The location is not that convenient. You will need to get a tuk tuk into Kandy city for other food options if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. I wondered about wheelchair access to some of the rooms as I didn’t see an elevator available for guests. It is somewhat dated inside the room and furniture

The buffet breakfast included a great variety of options The setting was nice as the hotel was near the river. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.
