An amazing family, they couldn’t have been more helpful helping organise things in the local area. You’re in a home stay in Sri Lanka so some facilities are basic but that’s the case in most places. The view from the room incredible as was the breakfast. The best place I stayed in Sri Lanka

We stayed in this guest house for a one night stop in Ella and had a lovely experience. Our room had a beautiful view over the mountains, what a perfect sight to enjoy the homemade breakfast in the morning! The family, lovely couple and kids are very welcoming and nice. We would definitely recommend this guest house!

Most rooms have an amazing view, however mine was on the lower level. It did not take anything away from my stay which was lovely, however I think it would be good to mention that this particular room does not come with the same view.

Lovely and inviting people. The shower was nice and warm and the bed big and comfortable. Location was perfect, walkable to the restaurants but far enough away from the more busy street.

Stairs for older people were a bit daunting but the family was very supportive.

The best place I stayed in Sri Lanka so far!! Really kind couple. Had a really good 2 nights. Super calm and room can be really dark for a good night of sleep. Also amazing breakfast. Really recommend!!!!

The view is just insane, the best view we have had from a room in Sri Lanka. The hosts are very kind and helpful, and even organised to take us to our next stop themselves for good price. We can’t wait to return one day ❤️

nothing at all - a lovely stay

the most amazing view , make sure to book the top floor room, the family who own the property are incredibly friendly and helpful (thank you). the stay had fairly basic facilities so don’t expect total luxury but if you’re looking for a very clean, comfortable stay with a friendly host and the most fantastic view - you must stay here! note it’s in a great location in Ella but the property is at the top of a fairly steep hill !

There isn’t anything I didn’t like but people should be aware there is a steep hill to get the property. You also need to ask for things like additional toilet paper or towels if you need.

This is a family run property in a great location in Ella, the owners couldn’t do enough for you. The homemade breakfast on our balcony was delicious. The owner also provides some tuk tuk tours and taxi services at affordable prices.

Only problem was noise from a buddhist temple across the street, they play some kind of cermon over loudspeakers for about one hour at around 5 am & pm every day. This is of course not the hosts’ fault but made sleeping through the night pretty difficult.

Kind and helpful hosts, great location in city centre with beautiful view of Ella Rock, nice and clean room. Overall a great place!

Family was soooo sweet and kind. We used their refrigerator for our drinks. The second and third floor rooms have amazing views!!! Breakfast was a good value and yummy

The accommodation is nothing special, but everything is clean, and the hosts are absolutely amazing! Is is located in a side street away from the noise of the Main Street but still really close it.

When planning our trip we didn’t anticipate how much we would like Ella and the surrounding area ,had to leave too early.

Amazing view from all of our rooms. Superb breakfast served on our balcony. Excellent days out suggestions .Close to many bars and restaurants whilst being very quiet. Arranged our onward travel . We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by the whole family.

Great view from the balcony. Small room with steps from outside, but all the traveller could need is available inside. One of owners is a very friendly person, who helped to bring our baggage upstairs and served a good breakfast on the balcony. Appreciate to have such memories about the breakfast with an amazing view.

Unfortunately there were lots of ants in the bathroom. I spoke with the hostess on the second day who cleaned them up but unfortunately they returned immediately so likely a wider problem.

Very good location, good view, had blankets (more than just your usual sheet in Sri Lanka), hosts were very lovely and inviting
