We rented one speed bikes from them for 1000 Rs each. No baskets and both bikes needed the bearings repacked. Later we rented bikes at Polonnawura for 400 Rs that had gears, baskets and no bearing issues. It’s ok to charge a little more for convenience, but the bikes need to be maintained better. We went to sleep at 10 pm one night and then heard loud karaoke singing. I messaged the owner who said he would be done in 10 minutes! Shocking that the owner didn’t even show consideration for his own guests!

Quiet neighborhood but easy to walk down the dirt road across the RR tracks to get into town in a few minutes. Beautiful yard, nice tables to sit on the patio (but we didn’t because it was too hot in the day and mosquitos at night). Comfortable bed. Room had electric kettle and mini fridge, plus a desk. Wi-Fi worked fine. We ate our own oatmeal and didn’t try their meals.

Yes , it was all good ...not just ticking best boxes because of laziness. I think its excellent value for money. The location is good too. Rooms have mosquito nets and fan and air-conditioning and privat bath . Rental bikes are available for 1000 SLR. ...and within 10 minutes you are inside the historical complex ..

The food we ordered was so salty and they charged 5000 for a scooter hire which is double what we've paid elsewhere in Sri Lanka

Only great things to say about this place! Hot water, great water pressure, strong AC, big bed with good mattress, pillows not too firm, great location and great set up. Wifi works well! Room has lots of space and storage to put your things, has a huge mosquito net, and stays nice and dark if you like to sleep in! Otherwise the lighting is great and opening the windows allows a lot of natural light. Right outside your door you have a nice outdoor space with your own table and chairs. There is a beautiful garden courtyard too. You get a close up view of monkeys running around on the roof! There are only a handful of rooms so it won't get overly busy. We rented a push bike to check out the archeological sites, it was an easy 15-20 min or so ride. A tuk tuk to town/food is about 220 rs so you're close to all you need. Great price, they also offer food which we had the breakfast and it was exactly what we needed. We were treated to fresh juice on our arrival. We only stayed one night as we were just traveling through, but I would easily stay here longer, they have definitely put all the work in to make this place a treat to stay at. We rank this place within our top 3 in our month in Sri Lanka, and we have stayed at some great places all throughout the country. Highly recommend!

Nice owner and staff. Very helpful. Very good local food for dinner. They rent out bicycles and it was even possible to organise a scooter. Accommodation itself is basic. If the room is just and only for the night, that's enough. Close to ancient area.

The bedroom could get a bit humid because of the shower, and maybe because of the season beginning of January (raining season just stopped). A window that could open in the bathroom would be nice.

Familyrun Bed and Breakfast in a quiet corner of Anuradhapura that has been built by the hands and hearts of the very kind and considerate owners Levi and his wife! Levi showed us the pictures of the impressive building process (he even made his own bricks!!) and the making of the garden. Impressive! The result: A cosy, intimate and green oasis where we enjoyed coming back after visiting by tuktuk the interesting old town of Anuradhapura with its temples with a guide, and the other beautiful religious point of interest in Mihintale. The city centre of the new town is in walking distance. Need a place to relax and enjoy this part of the cultural triangle don't hesitate just go :-)!

Great place, just next to the monumenta. They rent bikes and food is amazing. The owners are super nice and helped me with everything, i'd recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Anarudhapura!!!

Beautiful and peaceful place with a nice garden. The owner (Lievi himself) and all the staff are extremely nice and every helpful with anything, they will guide you with a map in the temples. The temple site is very close from the house. The room was super clean and we slept very well. There are fan and A/C. And none the less, breakfast and diner are absolutely delicious !!
