We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

My 8 day stay at Villa Velmarie was amazing and truly special! As woman traveling on my own, I felt very safe all the time. If you want to have a authentic Avuyeda experience and get to know Sri Lankan hospitality, this is definitely the place to go! The team of Villa Velmarie is just amazing, very friendly, helpful and always smiling. There are not many words needed to understand that the whole team cares with so much passion about all guests. There are only six room, so that you feel like becoming a member of Velmarie family. During my stay they were only three other guests, so that the atmosphere was just perfect and so nice! All treatments by my therapist Chaturani were excellent! The flower bath and the Shirodhare were my favorite treatments. The massages and oil treaments are wonderful as well. The cook prepares fresh and very delicious Sri Lankan foods, which she serves with a big smile. The manager tries to fulfill all wishes and helps to organise taxi rides and trips. The garden and pool area is very clear and beautiful, thanks to the great gardener who works all day. The cleaning lady provides fresh towels whenever you want and keeps everything nice and clean! The yoga lession is a perfect start of your day. Highly recommend to go there!

Bahrainthe only issue was the yoga area, i got bitten very badly in the first day, i would suggest maybe surrounding the area with mosquito netting to make sure red ants/mosquitos keep away as i can be hard to let go if you worrying about being bitten not a complaint just a suggestion :-)
the staff are very very welcoming and it was perfect getaway, food and treaments were very authentic and high standard, perfect little place to disconnect from the world and take time to yourself
