Incredible views - we could see all the mountains and waterfall from our balcony! Room was clean and with mosquito net and fridge. The family who run the property are so lovely - amazing breakfasts and available to provide tuk tuk rides

The stay is just perfect! Rooms are new, clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view. Located further up frm centre in a very quiet area. The land lord gives U the lift any time. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious and possible to adjust them according to your needs

The guesthouse is run by the loveliest family ever. They've all been so welcoming and have met all our needs. We've had the most perfect stay here. Starting from the room, the view is beyond beautiful - so peaceful and quiet, overlooking the waterfalls, and where you will be able to see the sunrise. The breakfast is delicious and very fulfilling (all home made and it varies every day). We've also had dinner here on the second day and it was very good, too. I'll recommend having dinner here! They also arranged all our transport (from the station to the guesthouse, to the nine arches bridge path and even to our next stay). Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome! We'll definitely stay here again!

It would be good to add a small lamp/light in the room instead of only the big light, but as the room was brand new it's just a finishing touch that I would recommend :)

Loved it!!! This is the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka.. the views are incredible. We were so surprised how much space we had to our selves. It was the perfect home away from home. The most comfortable bed and the peaceful surroundings ensure a great sleep. Location is great, an easy walk into town and a cheap tuk tuk back up the hill. The hosts are the most kind and genuine family. They went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. I could not recommend this place enough, it's a really special homestay. Thank you so much for your generous hospitality.

My only suggestion would be to get a bedside lamp for reading etc so that one does not have to have the ceiling lamps on/get out of bed to turn the lights off.

Excellent location a short tuk tuk drive from central Ella, with a gorgeous view of the hilltops from the balcony! Spacious and clean room that looked recently renovated, very comfortable bed. Slept like a princess. Friendly owners who offered complimentary tea/coffee upon arrival. Unfortunately it was not possible to have dinner the evening I stayed there but it was not an issue since there is a restaurant just a short walk from the property and the centre of Ella is really close. Breakfast was tasty.

Wonderful gentle friendly and incredibly helpful family run homestay. They were swift to help organise good value Tuktuk and transfers, were extremely flexible about breakfast times and accommodated our needs at all opportunities. The highlight of the room was the view. Simple inside but we didn’t need any more as we spent most of the day in the outdoors. We also loved their Dachsund, Randy!

The room was excellent clean. Breakfast was superb. Lots of fruits and items to eat for breakfast. View is excellent from the room. The whole family is the best host ever seen.

We had a really nice stay at Will's homestay. Will and his family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home for the 4 nights we stayed. The place is up on a hill where you can see all the sights of Ella from your balcony. It is a quiet environment and we slept so well. You can also walk to Ella town (20minutes). The room is spacious, clean, comfortable and great value for money. The breakfast was definitely the best we had in Sri Lanka; a generous amount of fruit, eggs, juice and coffee. It was so delicious and we were also lucky to have dinner here one night and the food was amazing! We look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for your kind hospitality :)

We loved everything about Will’s Guest Homestay. We had a chalet with magnificent views. The room was clean and comfortable. Will and his family were very sweet, the breakfast each morning was delicious and they helped us when they could with recommendations and tuktuks into town for a good price. Also rented a well maintained scooter for a good price. One of our favourite stays during our month in Sri Lanka! Thankyou Will and family!

Amazing views from the balcony, best accommodation I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. Host is very friendly and sorted out any transfers we needed. Breakfast was really good. Would 100% recommend. Ella town is only a 5/10 minute drive away and the host will arrange the tuktuk for you no problem.

If you’re a light sleeper it could be a bit hard with sounds of the road and dogs.

The view was incredible, the bed comfortable, and the shower hot. Overall a great stay; I wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. The owner was very kind and helpful.

Needed transport from station and walking street, but the family was very helpful here.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Really nice, clean room with great views, a balcony and mini fridge. Breakfast was really good! Dinner on request.
