You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyWas a misunderstanding about pets, we had to pay €15 additional fee. The man at check-in was brusque and not especially friendly. In general, the place was not very clean. The dishes in the room were dirty.
Super location. Lovely building. Comfortable bed. Incredible huge balcony overlooking the garden. Right between the beach and the lovely pedestrian zone. Excellent place to park.

CanadaThe heating was still off (from city of Jurmala) despite low temperatures on night time. Needed to pay 10 euros (as mentioned on hotel site) to get the air conditioning to heat the room on the second night to avoid freezing at 12C on morning time.
The hotel ia perfectly located walking 2 minutes to Jomas iela or 5 minutes to Jurmala beach. Bed was comfortable with a tiny washroom with shower. Employees are respectfull and helpfull. Photos and place in respect with reality.

FinlandThere was a building site next to this place and most of the daytime we had to listen to building noise, especially a bobcat running back and forth very close to this hotel and our balcony. The yard was full of cars, we still got ours on it. Later a man who was at the hotel all the time asked us to move it to a different location. Later that day he started calling us when we were at the balcony that we have to move it now and he was angry. Note: we never wanted to move the car in the first place, it was his choice. Now he started complaining and telling that he doesn't even work at the hotel and that it is his parking place. That was really annoying!! Not sure if it was because of this incident, but when we left the owner did not say or ask anything.
Location was good (not two minutes but 5+ minutes from the beach). Our room with a balcony was good. Owner was friendly when we came to the hotel.

LithuaniaAlthough the bathroom was clean and fresh, and had ventilation, it lacked space where wet towels and swimwear could dry. Also, a few knobs or hooks on the walls would have been useful to hang outerwear after a walk in the rain. We have to pay additional 15€ for a baby crib for three nights, and it came without blanket or pillow.
The room was minimalistic, but cosy, with wooden floor and furniture. The beds were very comfortable. The room had a kettle, a little fridge, and a wardrobe. The area is very central, but quiet, and just some 10 min from the beach.

Latviaonly issue I had which didn’t result in providing 10/10 stay; was the communication. when booking I was advised they’re dog friendly, and was even provided an email stating there would be no extra cost. However, few days later they then advised they would charge extra… Whether this is an issue through booking.com or from the hotel, this was my only annoyance for my stay.
