Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The location of the hotel is the best in Marrakech.

United Kingdomthe location is probably the only positive thing about this hotel. The service is not very friendly, the room needs to be refreshed, yellow water from the tap We had to leave early in the morning, and our inquiry about an early breakfast was ignored with no answer

Great location. Great pool area. Breakfast was ok, the best thing was the pancakes - freshly made by a lovely lady.

United KingdomThe 4 starts is over rated, the place was completely outdated. The first room we were given had a sagging bed, the plumbing was not in good condition and kept making a clicking noise, the sink kept overflowing and the water pressure in the shower was not great. Breakfast had a very poor selection of food. But there were fresh Moroccan pancakes being made by a lovely lady.
The location was great, nearby a taxi station and approximately a 10 minute walk to the markets. Also free parking, in a secure area. Most of the staff were very lovely and hospitable.

United KingdomThe breakfast was good but as we were here for 5 days it was boring as there was no variety at breakfast. The pool snacks were not very good either. I didn't find the reception staff very friendly
The pool was great but cold as expected in January. The service at the hotel pool and the cleanliness of the room was fantastic. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and had nice pillows which was a first on our Morocco trip. The waiters and breakfast room staff were very nice.

United KingdomIt’s not even 3 star let alone its 4 star advertisement. Old decor and interiors that are few decades ago. Very limited and repetitive breakfast options. Different receptionists quoted different city tax prices for our stay. Tours arranged by the hotel are pricier than what’s available online.
Only few good things are the location right close to the Medina, and the staff who are helpful

United KingdomFirstly this is not a 4 star hotel at all! Id say it’s 2/3 stars at most. First night we arrived at the property we were told we had not paid even though I had selected the pay now option on booking.com (no payment came out so it was okay even though highly annoying) I was told to pay in cash which was highly inconvenient! Few things that me and my wife did not like: Firstly the bed felt as though it had a dip in the middle of it which you would just sink into when sleeping. You don’t get an iron in your room so can’t iron clothes unless you pay for them to do it, even then this took over an hour on one of the days. For a hotel to be 4 stars you would think the room would have a fridge in it to store water bottles however they did not. You are not allowed to bring any snacks or drinks in to the hotel unless bought from the bar at the hotel! The ATM outside the hotel will charge you 10% markup & also has a worst exchange rate than an airport, didn’t even know that was possible! The breakfast is very very mid and to say it is a “buffet” you don’t have much of an option, also closes at 10am which we ended up missing on two occasions. Taxis that are waiting outside the hotel will scam you! when I ordered a taxi from Careem app, as soon as me and my wife entered the taxi other local taxi drivers surrounded the taxi driver and bullied him to the point he told us to get out! Absolutely traumatising for my wife, I understand the hotel can’t control taxi drivers trying to scam tourists however for them to be outside the hotel just constantly cat calling you really does not make me want to ever book there again solely based on that. Last thing I want to mention and is certainly why I will never be booking here again is when sleeping with my wife someone from the hotel knocked on our door at a round 7am just once and then decided to open the door, soon as they heard me get up from bed they quickly shut the door! Imagine my wife was alone!
Nice pool, staff were accommodating & friendly! Hotel location was REALLY GOOD! Can’t stress that enough apart from scamming taxi drivers waiting outside the hotel to rip off any tourist!

ItalyThe property feels unloved. For the price charged per night the standard of the bedrooms and the food should be higher. There used to be a faithful and welcoming staff but they all seem to have disappeared since I was there 3 years ago. No more live music in the bar and generally an atmosphere of nobody caring very much. It needs a makeover desperately but once loved a little again, could be the charming place it once used to be.
I was a frequent visitor at the lovely little chems hotel for many years and the lovely pool and garden remain the same .

United KingdomRoom are average not the standard shown on photos. Reception guy requesting Cash and wouldn't take card payment (first I experienced) - trying to make easy cash money from customers. No cup or glass in room to pour water to drink and original Had soap provide in room really crap.
I would not consider the Hotel to be 4* maybe 3* ish... The bed room was pretty average (more of Travel lodge type). Expected Hotel to be little more better (to comparison, I would say Holiday Inn Express or even Travel Lodge is better Hotels). Check in was terrible as the guy on counter did not accept Credit Card and requested Card Payment. The amount worked out to be more then booking.com price in cash (about 650 Dirham). The next day we saw lady receptionist who was happy to take Card or Cash payment. The machine outside the Hotel (on premises) - be careful as cash withdraw has 10% mark up, you be better of converting money prior or at Bank ATM, alternatively pay in advance. Also note there is no Iron so either carry a small portable iron or pay for ironing service. Note: It says the hotel provides Toiletries but the only thing is little soap kind of dispenser on top of the tap in Bath and shower head is rested below your knee height (not at shoulder level) like normal. House keeping was good and they did our rooms once we left. Nice Pool, but unfortunately we didn't get to use it on short trip. Did not have breakfast as not made it time in two days. Booking.Com has the Hotel to have "Large" double bed, in fact the rooms come with two singles joined together.

United KingdomRooms are cleaned in the afternoon, which is really not convenient as people tend to nap. Snacks were pricy, in my opinion, got a virgin mojito for the price of a alcoholic one... not ideal!
it was a good hotel though accessing it was a nightmare because of road works everywhere around the hotel. the hotel was OK, was expecting better from a 4 star. very central, no taxi needed to go to most places. Staff were good and so were the rooms. The continental breakfast was good, though the coffee machines were mediocre.

PortugalBreakfast was very poor, little variety. always the same fruit, watermelon. No water available, in a dispenser or jug, incomprehensible. Access to the hotel is dark and dirty. No minibar in the room.
The location of the hotel is good, close to the medina and the new zone. The garden and the pool were the best part of the stay, as it was very hot and we were able to cool off.
