눉Reception at night did not believe that my phone in the room did not work. The ATM at the train station gobbled up my card + I needed to ring my bank in Australia to clarify some details. I cancelled my card online; but was stressed when I went downstairs to reception 4 times to advise that the phone did not work - I was not allowed to use the phone at reception + I had advised that I would pay for the call. Also do not use the taxis outside the hotel for private tours. We negotiated a time and price; the Driver took us to places we asked not to go to; went overtime and then hassled for more money - it was disappointing.
눇Hotel is directly opposite the Casa Port train station which was only 64 durum per person - first class direct from airport. Hotel is clean and breakfast is excellent.

눉Poor response to request to postpone booking for one night, despite arranging to stay for two nights, not just one, we were charged for the first night booked as 'no shows' despite having contacted the hotel to explain the situation due to circumstances beyond our control. Neither booking.com nor the hotel did anything to help us and we ended up paying for 3 nights instead of the 2 we actually stayed. The breakfast 'buffet'was really rubbish and very poor value for money. It was also more expensive than advertised on the booking.com website but when we mentioned this to the hotel they wouldn't take any responsibility, just a shrug was the response we got. As vegetarians, there was not a single meal suitable for us at lunch or dinner, and the kitchen was not willing to make us anything special until after a lot of complaining and assertive insistence, we got some bland vegetables and rice with slices of cheese, most of which we left. The normal menu was suspended for the duration of Ramadan, which was not made clear in any of the literature, not even pasta or fries were available, only very basic salads and tinned humus. The timings of meals were different in the notice in the lift, in the website, and in the leaflet in the bedroom. No tea/coffee making facilities or fridge/chill box in the bedroom - the most basic standard items in a hotel at this price were not included. I complained THREE times to reception that there were no paper towels or soap in the disabled toilet on the ground floor and despite reassurances that this would be attended to, after two days, these still hadn't been supplied. The flush lever in the toilet in our bedroom jammed when used, thus wasting lots of water and there weren't the usual basic toiletries that most hotels provide as standard. One small bin in the bathroom, none in the bedroom, and no tissues, etc.
눇Location and helpful parking attendant (info on hotel didn't mention that parking is very limited and was full but because I have restricted mobility, the attendant went out of his way to find us a parking space and helped with our luggage, etc.
