Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing.
We had one of the tower rooms, which was lovely as we had the entire roof terrace to ourselves. Beds were comfortable and air-conditioning effective. The WiFi was good - they had three different options with strength in different parts of the hotel. Staff were kind and welcoming and the breakfast was varied and nice. The pool was good - a little chilly, but it's early in the season and we enjoyed it anyway. Being on the outskirts of town meant that it was lovely and peaceful in the evenings.

GermanyCouldn‘t pay with card at reception, which was a bit sleepy. Very squeaky door to bathroom
After Marrakesh we found peace at Kadbah du Jardin. Very nice, relaxed place at the end of town with amazing views of The Valley. Clean, spacious room. The staff were wonderful. Adil always smiling and helpful and the vibrant and wise Marwan with his wonderful knowledge and energy, who organised a very memorable, traditional drumming and dancing evening.

DenmarkDon’t recommend the Pastilla.. Pool area was very nice, but does not have a direct view of the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Owner couple very nice and invited us to join their iftar. Rooms were good value, hot showers, quiet, nice breakfast. Terasse has a lovely view of the valley

GermanyBasic things that travellers need are working facilities in their room. In our case, the flush was broken, the toilet brush was very dirty, there was nowhere to hang the shower head and the taps were leaking. there were no bedside lamps (only the lamp on the ceiling), only one socket in the room, which made it less easy to recharge your phones. They charged us €2 for a bottle of water when there was no water available at breakfast time. The place needs a higher level of maintenance, for the price.
The location was great, with parking onsite and a nice view. The breakfast was copious and good. The staff was nice, especially the young Marouan, with his smile and good mood. The internet was great. The decoration was typical Moroccan and the whole place looks impressive.

PolandIt was quite cold in the room, even with heating with an air conditioner (stay in January).
The hotel offers gluten free options and staff are aware of what exactly gluten is. The hotel also has a restaurant. The room was spacious with a view on the swimming pool (unfortunately it was too cold in January for swimming). The location is very good, a 10min walk to the ancient city. Restaurants and local shops nearby. The hotel has private parking, closed for the night.

GermanyThe bathroom in our room only had a curtain and no proper door and the shower did not have any curtain, so we flooded our bathroom a little bit.
The staff was super helpful and friendly! Very welcoming, we could leave our bags in the reception area after check-out and they organized a transfer to Ouarzazate where they also stopped at an ATM for us and gave us a good restaurant recommendation. Breakfast was served outside in the nice patio. We can totally recommend this nice place for a visit in Ait Ben Haddou. The distance to the town center should not influence the decision, as everything here is super close and you reach the town in less than 2 min.

United KingdomExpected it to be closer to Ouarzazate - it's about a 30 min drive out.
Staff incredibly friendly and Fadwa went completely out of her way to help us organise the next stage of our trip. Food was amazing! Woke up early and watched sunrise on Ait Ben Hannou - which was incredible.

PolandThe dinner was not the strongest point of this kasbah. We ordered chicken tajin but we’re served with chicken with French fries steamed in tajin pot, nothing to do with Tajin which we experienced previously in more traditional locations. The dishes were quite small in comparison to all the previous places.
The location is perfect, just walking distance from the local main attraction. The pool is also an advantage : if you travel as a family you can just sit in front of your room, enjoy your tee or sun and watch kids having fun. Internet works well. There is a friendly nice lady who can speak English, very smoky and open can help you in anything you want starting from advice on nearby attractions to organizing dinner etc. view from the terrace is nice.

Maybe because of Covid, there is a lot of deferred maintenance, like overhead covering around the pool, aging cushions. It seems that withou major expense it could be much brighter, fresher and friendlier. Owner and staff were very nice.
