Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe history of the Kasbah, the same family has been running it for 4 centuries. The food, the location and the charming use of candles as night. It is a singular experience. I've stayed in many amazing hotels around the world and although this was not the most expensive, or the most glamorous, it certainly has the most character. The roof top is phenomenal. I have not seen the stars and skies this way in two decades (blame it on living in a polluted metropolis).

Isle of ManNothing. It was all as expected. A very nice stay overall.
The room was lovely and basic, exactly as we expected. The family room had three rooms, one with a larger than average double bed, one with three singles (one of which was shorter than normal), and a small common area with just a couple of straightback chairs for seating. The toilet and shower were behind separate doors off the common area and had 24/7 operational electric lighting. Everything else was with candles. Ample candles were provided. The dinner was really great. Don't eat elsewhere! I had read that it was served on the roof terrace, but in our case it was indoors. Breakfast was comparable to what we had at all our Moroccan hotels. When we called to say we were in the parking lot, someone came very promptly with the donkey to help with our bags.

United KingdomWe had a very comfortable stay in the 400 year old Kasbah! We were met with mint tea and a friendly welcome :) The Kasbah is one incredibly beautiful and wonderfully restored. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Food is amazing. Shared spaces are wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night!!

GermanySuper location. Nice experience walking from the (guarded) car park (with ATM) over the stepping stones in the water to the hotel. Very friendly host who helps carry luggage if required. Very special to have candlelight only. Wonderfully quiet and from the roof a beautiful view of the stars. Highly recommended!

PolandBear in mind that wi-fi only works in the common area on the ground floor and that very few plugs work. The doors to the toilet were very low even for me and I am quite short, no hooks/hangers in the shower area to hang clothes or towel
The hotel is very beautiful and romantic, lit with candles in the evening, good dinner was served; very nice staff

United KingdomNothing - stunning
Astonishing place - nearly a palace. There was some electricity in the house but they mainly use candles which was cute. Had to cross stepping stones to get to old town, but he came and carried our luggage on the back of his motorbike. Great breakfast on terrace.

FranceThere is nowhere to sit and relax on the rooftop, only on the main balcony.
The set dinner meal was delicious. Seemed like good choice given the other options and we were not disappointed. The candlelit aura gave a special ambiance to the stay. Our room was quite large with access to the rooftop

BelgiumSuch a magical stay in Kasbah Tebi. At night, the Kasbah is lit with candles in the common areas and the rooms. We had a delicious candlelight dinner. The room was very comfortable, the view is stunning and the staff is the nicest. This is one of only two hotels in the old part of Ait Ben Haddou. Kuddos to the owner for investing in renovating the Kasbah and sharing his passion for this heritage with us!

ItalyUnfortunately they were filming a movie exactly in front of the entrance door on the day we arrived. This is for sure part of the experience in Ait Ben Haddou, but we had huge set lights, equipments, a very noisy coffee machine and so on inside the Kasbah also in the evening, ruining a bit the atmosphere we came for. Definetely not a evening without electricity! It would have been nice to at least comunicate it when we booked.
Kasbah Tebi is a magical place where you can relax and enjoy the amazing architecture. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, we had great food in a candle light dinner, and the starry night from our private balcony is definetely unforgettable.
