Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe only thing which I felt could be improved were the cupboard spaces in our room. They were all locked. Otherwise the room was large and had a lot of space.
The property was a lovely traditional family hotel managed by a wonderful person. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The balcony overlooking the Medina was breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and Mr Tazi, his family and staff were very welcoming and kind. The food was positively divine ❤️

United KingdomIt was a little noisy form the road side but fine once we closed the window, otherwise no issues.
A beautiful spot with a stunning view on the rooftop where you can enjoy breakfast. Our room was huge and very reasonably priced. A true family riad, staff were lovely and he made sure we had our breakfast no matter what time we were leaving in the morning. A short walk to the main part of the old town with many restaurants nearby as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

United KingdomThere are so many touts in that area who will misguide you and ask for exorbitant tip- instead use maps or ask any other tourist to help you in finding this Riad. If you don't know Arabic or French sometimes it is bit challenging to communicate with owner but it is not his problem- but his daughter speaks very fluent English so if she is around she is always happy to help
Owner of Riad and his family are very nice people. Location is inside Medina but a little away busy street so it is very quite and peacful. Rooftop terrace and the breakfast he served was really delicious.

Czech RepublicThe bed was a bit too hard and uncomfortable. It was also quite noisy at night as children were playing and screaming until around 11, but I guess it's part of the experience :)
The family running the place were lovely. They were all the time making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was superb, and very enjoyable in the sunny terrace. Excellent location! Just 10 minutes walk from the Blue Gate and in a very nice area of the Medina.

United States of AmericaIt would be great if the lodge provides a kitchen for guests to cook and a microwave. Also provide better directions to get to the lodge.
Excellent location, friendly host and sumptuous breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs etc. The rooftop view is outstanding. Lodge is easy to find during day time. Best to arrive through the Bab Boujloud and use Google Maps and follow the main alleyway called “Rue Talaa Sghira”. At Zkak lahjar and Fontaine Darb Roum, turn right, look up. You should see the sign of “Maison Familal Tazi”. It is also close to the Ruined Garden restaurant.

TurkeySometimes the WiFi was spotty but I can't think of anything else I'd change!
I really enjoyed my stay at this traditional, family-run guesthouse in the medina. My room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Shower was great with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very generous with plenty of coffee! The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Anyone with mobility issues should probably let the family know in advance as there are a LOT of stairs but there is accommodation on the ground floor.

New ZealandIt was a bit difficult to find initially however once we found it, it was easy to get to. It is located a few minutes walk downhill from the secret garden. Look for signs higher on the walls in the Medina and it is eventually on the right hand side of a path leading down towards the tanneries.
A kind host with limited English but none the less we felt welcomed. We had quite a stressful situation initially finding it, as we were followed by people trying to “help” us even though we politely declined and asked them to leave us alone. Because of this, we ended up walking straight past it as maps isn’t 100% accurate in the Medina. We eventually found it (look at signs higher on the walls in the Medina). It is only a few minutes downhill from the Ruined Gardens restaurant. The accommodation itself is very basic and more expensive than our stay in Marrakech, however we really enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace every morning. We ended up in a family suite instead of a double room (I assume because it was full) which was very large with its own bathroom which had a damp smell. The owner was also kind to offer a special blend of tea to my partner on our departure day as he had food poisoning. Overall it was a good stay.
