I would have been more comfortable with an enclosed shower, curtain perhaps.

Stunningly beautiful riad. Renovated with love and a clear understand of the integral character of the building. Gorgeousness around every corner, in every alcove. Just absolutely wonderful... All of it... Staff, room, roof terrace, attention to detail... Exquisite. Do yourself a favour and stay her and HAVE THE DINNER!!!! It might seem a bit pricey for Moroccan standards but I have never seen or tasted anything as incredible....

They run a high end restaurant in the riad, which means it is quite noisy until about 11pm.

Malaïka is a gorgeous riad with great staff... I don't know what to add - it is so beautiful it is mind blowing.

This is a lovely riad adorned with beautiful Moroccan artwork. Our room was very comfortable, we had windows to the outside so we heard the cats, seagulls, and call to prayer but it wasn’t too loud. Other rooms opened onto the courtyard. The breakfast service was elegant: fresh squeezed orange juice, a variety of Moroccan breads, eggs, and mint tea.

Only a hand held shower in our bathroom that you could not use stood up. Otherwise 10 out of 10.

Housekeeper just open the room without knocking the door, most of the days during my stay. Should have courtesy to knock or Salam before; or align with frontdesk which room is occupied. Bottled water only provided in the room on day 1. Abit weird considering the price of the room is not cheap either. Been in other Riad, there is always water for the day. Need to ask for shampoo/shower gel/tissue replenish. House keeper seem to make your bed but not refilling those items.

Amazing in every way. Eat dinner in the restaurant for an incredible high end meal. You can see it being prepared all day in the kitchen.

Nothing, everything was good. The only comment could be that the shower in the suite was really beautiful, but you had to be really careful cause water could easily go out.

Really nice Riad with amazing decoration and friendly and supportive personal. Location is in the Medina but in a not so crowded alley, so there is no noise. Breakfast is also varied and in good quantity.

The only think I can think of that could be improved was that our shower had very small walls around it so water easily splashed outside...but not really a problem for us.

Everything was perfect - the Riad is extremely comfortable. the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the communal areas were equally well done. the restaurant is really special and you should definitely eat there as it is delicious. Breakfast was imaginative and tasty. The staff were all very cheery and very welcoming.

Our taxi driver contacted riad prior our arrival to Essaouira and there was member of staff waiting to help us with our luggage and the same on our departure as accommodation is in Medina. Abdulah (hope I spelled it correctly) provided us with map and gave some useful tips of places to visit in Essaouira. Breakfast was very good and tasty!
