Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing. On a side note check that the upstairs rooms are suitable if you have mobility issues. This is a traditional Riad with high steps.
The Riad was a beautiful home from home, in a side road off the Talaâ Kebira and 5 minutes from the blue gate. The location was quiet with excellent view of the medina rooftop from the terrace, yet you can enjoy the excitement of bustling through the medina streets with an array of shops, restaurants and sites on your doorstep. The Riad team were excellent hosts, informative, kind and generous. Haddou and his wife were super friendly and provided delicious meals and good company. Nourredine was a wealth of knowledge. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with an array of artisan breads, pastries, honey, olives, cheese etc. we had a delicious couscous on Friday. The Riad is tastefully decorated and our suite was comfortable and spacious. We would definitely return!

United States of AmericaRiad Adarissa is conveniently located in the Fes medina. But, the real reason to stay here is the exceptional hospitality. Haddou went out of his way to make everything enjoyable, from the moment he met us to the time we left. His wife, Hanane, was the chef. We chose to eat our dinners at the Riad, and it was a great decision. The meals were fantastically prepared and it gave us more time to enjoy the company of Haddou, Hanane, and the gracious owner of the Riad Adarissa, Jean Claude. When traveling, it's the people you meet who make things special. And the people at Riad Adarissa made everything special and memorable for us. Highly recommend! Our room was adjacent to the dining room and was perfect for us. Others might prefer an upstairs room. The terrace gives a nice view of Fes. A Moroccan Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it.

Spain-
The best stay in Fes is at Riad Adarissa. The Riad is very close to the Medina and they can also help you organizing daily trips to the closest touristic attractions. Haddou was the best host we could ever asked for, he helped us organizing everything we needed and he was always very nice and polite. breakfast is excellent :)) I will recommend this Riad to my friends too!

Czech RepublicThe room we had was spacy, but no window other to the inside atrium. Not a problem for many, but we appreciate natural light. The riad is nice, comfy, but not much privacy due to limited sound proofing. Tight stairs to get in and out, not for disabled people or heavy luggage.
Great staff, one of the best breakfast we had in the same type of accommodation, convenient location inside medina. Traditional, just handful of rooms. Nice terrace with look over the Fez medina. Riad is in a side street just dozen steps from main medina street, expect tiny streets and dusty, not well maintained surroundings. Typical for medina, however. Overall we got what we wanted - local experience in Fez.

GermanyThe breakfast area is literally outside the door. So it might be inconvenient for late risers.
The staff was kind, helpful and very very welcoming. Mr. Haddou went out of the way to pick us up at the edge of the Medina and drop us off at the end of our stay.

ItalyToo expensive (in all the other riad the dinner was about 10/12€ for person, here 20€ for person!! the breakfast was always included with the night but not here: 7€ for person), moreover the house manager miscounted (he just made us pay for 1 breakfast and we were 2) and we had to pay later for HIS mistake. It was just 7€ but it irritated me a lot because it was our last day and I kept just the exact change in dirham to pay the taxi driver and to let Haddou a little tip and we had to left to Haddou less just because the house manager made a mistake and the house manager was not even at the riad and we can't talk to him to explain to him the situation. It was very annoying.
Haddou was one of the kindest, welcoming and gentle person we met in our holiday in Marocco. Thank you very much. The dinner was very good (especially the chicken pastilla).

United States of AmericaIt was a little cramped in our room.. small room for large suitcases, but we were not to bothered by that since we really were not in the room much.
The Riad was in such a great location in the Medina and is so authentic to Fes. The host was very welcoming and kind.

PortugalI liked everything.
The riad is traditional and incredibly well kept. Everything makes sense, from the copper fixtures in the bathrooms to the carved wooden beams all around the building structure. The best part was definitely Mr. Hadou, who received us almost like family, he and his wife had the best meals I had in Morocco made for us. The location of the riad is perfect, near the blue gate and on the Main Street of Fez. For rooms, in summer on should choose the ground floor rooms because they are the fresher. Breakfast was always great.

PortugalThe bed was not made it only had one sheet over the mattress and the cover folded at the end of the bed. The decorative pillows had quite a bit of dust that for me as an asmathique is a a bother.
The man that received (Haddad if I'm not mistaken was his name) was very nice and catered to all our needs. He met us and picked us up in the entrance of the Medina and took us inside to the Riad. He got us an escort to take us out to dinner and served us a ver big breakfast. Nouredine received us the next morning and showed us the full place as well as a brief explanation of Fez and the Medina. The bathroom was very traditional I would say but the water pressure was nice
