Beautiful Riad, nice atmosphere, great food. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and manager (Mohamed). They upgraded us to one of their suite, which was beautiful, very quiet and pitch dark...perfect for a good night sleep! great location at the Medina entrance. Easy to find taxis to the train station or airport. Walking distance from all the interesting sites in Fes.

The Riad itself is very nice, but the staff are exceptional. The manager, Mohamed, was outstanding. He arranged a day trip for us. He escorted us into town to find an ATM that would accept a Canadian bank card (he had to take us to three banks before we found one that worked). When we wanted a specific souvenir he took us into the Medina to an appropriate shop.

This is a beautiful place with an attentive staff. The location by an entrance to the medina couldn't be better. You really do feel like you are in your own home....only with a lot of people caring for your every need...plus the food is very good. And the pool is superb

The bathroom door in our suite would not close unless locked from the inside. Not a big deal, really. No English TV channels in our suite, although other rooms had them. I didn't raise these with the management. If I had, I'm sure they would have done something about it. They were very responsive to any requests we had. Excellent service!

The Deluxe Suite was beautifully designed with exquisite attention to detail in almost every facet of the room. The overall design of the place was quite elegant. The traditional Moroccan food that was served for lunch was freshly made and simply delicious. Located a 5 minute walk from Bab Boujloud if you're walking alone. Perhaps 15-20 min walk into the heart of the Old Medina. With a guide and slow-moving company, it takes longer. The guide they provided spoke English well, and was very informative. There was a framed photo of Bono in traditional Moroccan garb in the main foyer. Apparently he visited seven years earlier to shoot a music video, which was kind of cool. The weather was hot, but the rooms were air conditioned, and the open air swimming pool made the hot weather actually a good thing. They were very kind to us, and let us have a relaxed lunch in our air conditioned room after we'd checked out.

Our first interactions by email set the tone for our stay at Riad El Yacout: Khadija not only answered questions about our visit but also arranged a driver for us from Chefchaouen and assisted with other practical arrangements beyond the call of duty. The Riad itself is gorgeous and spotlessly clean and in an ideal location. Our dinner there was perhaps the best we had on our trip (ask for the Moroccan salads as your "starter"), and the staff was unfailingly helpful. We liked Fes on our first day and loved it by our last. We left for the airport with a packed lunch made by staff members who by now felt more like friends.

A little bit lacking in natural light in the bedrooms - does mean a good night sleep though!

Beautiful oasis of calm only a few minutes away from the busy Fez Medina. Fantastic architecture and attention to detail. Yummy food and Plenty of it too. Beds big and comfy and rooms very clean,. Really charming, non-intrusive,attentive and friendly staff Knowledge and insight in to the area and culture
