Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The location was excellent, a short walk to the main square. The Riad had lots of personality and we really felt at home. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Soufianr and Mohammad were so helpful and made our stay extra special

United KingdomThere was absolutely nothing we could fault!
Perfect in every way! I can’t fault anything - please please please ignore the low rating given by a review further down, which was clearly left by a disgruntled customer who evidently did not book accommodation according to their needs. A Riad is a homely, traditional place, which is obviously not what this customer was looking for. We absolutely LOVED our stay. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating, not to mention really interesting to talk to and they gave us so much helpful information about our stay in Marrakech. The rooms were fantastic, clean, quirky (every room is different) and furnished beautifully. We especially loved the wooden doors which added to the traditional feel to this wonderful home. The breakfast was SUPERB. Every day something new, and all local. The staff made sure to tell us what it was that we were served and it was really interesting to learn about the local food. Breakfast is set in the inner courtyard of the Riad which is particularly quaint with its beautiful banana trees growing through the middle. Top floor has a rooftop terrace which again, was furnished beautifully with tables and sun loungers, perfect for the mornings and evenings to relax after a day in the Souks. This Riad was 100% better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in, and I would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting Marrakech. In my opinion it is far better to stay in a traditional place like this to experience Morocco properly. Thank you to the hosts for their exceptional, 5 star service. We will be staying again for sure!!

SpainOur room was a bit small with very little space on either side of the bed, and we would have preferred the bathroom to be on the same level, not up stairs. That being said, the bed was very comfy and everything was spotlessly clean!
The staff, particularly Sofian and Mohamed, were attentive, efficient and helpful at all times. Breakfast was simple, but always fresh and delicious. We had dinner in the Riad on one of our nights, and it, too, was well prepared, fresh, tasty and more than ample. The sense of calm as you enter the Riad, in the courtyards and especially on the lovely roof terrace, was most welcoming after the chaos of the streets in the Medina. We absolutely recommend Riad Media for your stay in Marrakesh!

United KingdomEverything. Beautiful Raid Moroccon style a little cold for me but is winter I guess.
Sofian and his colleague (can’t remember his name) are by far so welcoming, super friendly and just pleasant to be around. They go the extra mile, even made be breakfast earlier just for me as I had a tour to get to before breakfast time.

Accomodation is very nice, rooms are great. Specially bathroom is very spacious. There's air conditioning in the room that we used during the night since it got very cold outside. Roof terrace is amazing. Inner court area is lovely. Stuff is very nice and caring. Location is great to explore medina.

We had the pleasance to stay at this great riad. It’s a true oasis of pease in the middle of the chaotic medina. The staff, especially Soufiane and Younes, made us feel very welcome and at home. I think this is the riad-feeling. A cozy and house-like place to stay. The food is great! The included breakfast has its little surprises every day and the traditional dinner they can offer is a wonderful way the get a taste of Moroccan cuisine.

United KingdomEveryone was very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. We had some delicious meals and a lovely hammam at the riad. We also had a great trip to the Atlas mountains organised by the riad. There was no problem following the earthquake and Marrakech had got back to normal very quickly.

AustraliaThere was nothing I didn’t like.
This is a beautiful quiet and unique little Riad in the centre of Marrakech. The traditional design is very lovely. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, such wonderful hosts. Marrakech is full of life and welcoming people, and they are happy for visitors to come since the earthquake. Breakfast is perfect and a lovely Moroccan dinner is available at the Riad, with yummy spices and unique flavours. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and public areas with a plunge pool, plants as well as roof top terrace make this accommodation even more special. Come and enjoy this quiet little oasis. It is a perfect way to experience the wonderful hospitality of Marrakech.

The location was very convenient as it was 20 minutes drive from the airport and 5 minutes walk from the Medina. The breakfast was nice, however it was a bit light and could have been more filling. The rooms were beautiful and very welcoming with comfortable beds and great facilities. The staff were also amazing particularly - Suffian and Hussein - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I also want to state that Marrakech was very safe and we had nothing to worry about. The earthquake was very far from Marrakech itself and the citizens were thriving. Please visit and support the region, they need the tourism for their business.

United KingdomOur recommendations below as there were minor things , room for improvement - *Complimentary water bottle provided daily since they charge. *Tea coffee kettle facilities in room * Include a safe *More toiletries needed, seperate shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Currently very basic all in one and given its a 5 star hotel, would expect more. Can source locally, would be a nice touch. *Long mirror in room *Daily breakfast fruit salad and omlette, if possible. I enjoyed the breakfast with different options but adding these 2 items daily would maximise the experience. *WiFi issues at times * Be aware taxi drivers won't stop outside the riyad due to access issues. Likely will charge extra to haul luggage to the riyad.
My friend and I stayed at the riad 5 nights. A beautiful, traditional old style riad in the heart of the city, walking distance to key sites. All staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming particularly Mohammed and Sufiyan. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. We enjoyed a delicious traditional meal on the first night. Mohammed went above and beyond for us, always asking how our day was and smiley 😊 i loved the old style decor and the cooling pool came in handy for a dip after a long hot day. Would high recommend this riad as it felt essentially a home from home!
