Riad Selouane is a lovely Riad with a lovely staff who are always waiting to help you. We had to leave early the last day (6:00) and didn’t expect breakfast but when we went downstairs, they had prepared a breakfast for us…so very kind. The decor throughout the Riad was beautiful with great attention to detail and still maintaining its authenticity. We felt safe going and coming from the Riad especially at night since there was a guard who accompanied us to our front door. Perfect location to go to all the sites. The rooftop where breakfast was served every morning was a huge plus.

Nothing really. It was everything we needed and expected from a traditional road stay in the heart of the old Medina.

The Road was in a fantastic location. Very peaceful and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Breakfast served on the terrace was also really simple and lovely.

The option of evening food would be great!

The property is beautiful and acts as a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The staff make you feel so at home and there’s a very cute resident cat to boot!

Such an incredible place to stay! I LOVED Riad Selouane. The facilities are gorgeous - an idyllic spot to get away for a few days. The staff are amazing - thank you so much to Nouri, who made sure everything was perfect and had great advice. The location is also fantastic, because it's in the medina and steps away from the more authentic souks, but 5 minutes' walk to a major street (where you can catch a taxi or meet your excursion driver). I would definitely stay here again!

The Riad is in a great location and is very peaceful! The room was spacious and a heater was provided as the temperature was slightly chilly at night, which was very much appreciated. The bed was also extremely comfortable! All of the members of staff were welcoming and we were treated like family. 10/10

The manager & his son Abdil were exceptional hosts. Everything was well organised and they were very hospitable and welcoming. The room was comfortable and riad well located within walking distance from the main square. Abdil shared interesting things about Marrakech with us and showed us all their local spices. Will definitely recommend and visit again

We loved everything - one minor thing would be that we only received one robe in our room and it would be nice to have two. Otherwise everything was great.

We loved our stay at Riad Selouane - it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us book taxis and giving us a slightly earlier breakfast than usual one morning due to us having a tour booked. The breakfast was delicious and was beautifully situated on the terrace. The mint tea was one of my favourites I’d tried in Marrakech. Location of the Riad was perfect, slightly tucked away from the busy streets, but still easy to find and an ideal base for exploring - we were able to walk everywhere which was a plus. Our room was clean and very spacious. We loved looking out over the city on the terrace during sunset. Would absolutely book here again/recommend to others to stay when visiting Marrakech.

I still scored the property 10/10 but just something that’s common in all the 5 hotels we stayed in. Somehow, the air conditioning doesn’t cool the room enough at night. Even at 17 degrees Celsius we woke up sweating.

Loved loved loved everything about this property. It’s spotlessly clean, has a great ambience, staff service is impeccable. What a great place to soak in all the Marrakech magic! Thank you to all the 3 gentlemen who made our stay so fabulous. We are so grateful. Merci beaucoup. We will be back In Sha Allah.

Everything was perfect.

The Riad has a wonderful location inside the Medina. It is in an area where you have some boutique shops and it is not too crowded. It is only 5 minutes walk or less from the taxi stop and easy to get assistance with luggage. It is very quiet inside the riad, we could not hear any outside noise during the day or night. A little oasis inside the busy streets of the Medina. It is within walking distance from the main attractions as well. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the facilities beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was good. The best part was the staff who were very kind, helpful and always with a big smile. I would definitely stay here again.

Personally I didn’t like the cat. I’m scared of cats and it was super playful and just put me on edge. There was hair in the pool at one point but that was only one day and it had clearly been cleaned.

The accommodation is as presented. Weird that you walk down a small and a little potentially scary alley (if you’re a woman in your own) but then step into total paradise and calm. The staff were friendly, beyond helpful. The breakfast was great. Room tidy every day was good and all our things were safe. We loved it. Would totally recommend.

I cannot express my gratitude for the staff at the riad during what was a difficult time given the tragic circumstances that occurred during the earthquake. The guests safety was paramount. Before and after the event we were looked after, nothing was too much trouble, at any time of day. The staff are a real asset. We felt incredibly safe and it had a real family feel about it. Location is perfect if you want to explore the medina and surrounding areas. The daily breakfast was wonderful and rooms traditional in design, with modern features needed in a warmer climate. The star of the show is of course the beautiful boisterous little kitten Bamboo. Missing my breakfast buddy already!
