Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI could not fault Riad Sidi Mimoune. The riad is impeccably presented and our room was spacious and comfortable. Property is well located for seeing the sites and visiting the medina. Cheap, secure parking is available just a short walk away too. The added bonus of having a hammam on site is great and so reasonably priced too! The staff were all very friendly and even got up early to send us off with coffee before our flight. Can’t recommend enough.

Beautiful place to rest from the busy Marrakech. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The Ryad is just splendid and the breakfast that's included is very good and sufficient. Don't hesitate to book a hammam with a massage to relax. I loved the rooftop terrace - to read a book or have tea. I will definitely come back here

United KingdomThe property was beautiful and very authentic. Main attractions were reasonably short walks (20 minutes) which is perfect as you get to explore more of the city. The hosts were very kind and ayesha (reception lady) was very helpful giving us a great guide and made our stay much better! We will be coming back.

SwedenThe breakfast (except for the juice!) was a bit meh. Not the worst problem for me and my wife but there were big decorative holes in the bathroom that made any sounds or noises coming from the bathroom very obvious to the other person in the room haha!
Great staff - Younis and Aicha were lovely to deal with, the rest of the staff was also very nice. The riad was super cute, the rooms were clean and the location was in the heart of the Medina!

United KingdomIt was a bit chaotic upon check in and arrival. It wasn't too difficult to find the hotel but be warned that there are lots of scammers offering to take you to the hotel from the nearest taxi drop off location and they will pounce on you when they see you carrying luggage. The signage to the hotel along the route was difficult to read in the daytime let alone night time so this could be better. We ended up taking the wrong right turn (it is the second right turn after the mosque!) as Google Maps isn't quite correct as it takes you to the back of the hotel. There was only one member of staff trying to check in 4-5 different groups at the same time, as well as being the only waiter serving dinner that evening. We had to wait around 45 minutes (we were starving and tired!) until we were seen to but he did provide us with some tea and biscuits. It is a shame as we did arrive right within the time window stated. Customer service could be a little better, the staff member who checked us in and looked after us for the majority of the time did seem grumpy and stressed a lot of the time and he did tell us that he hated his job. It might be because he had only been working for a couple of weeks but doesn't seem cut out to work in the tourism industry! The manager however was very friendly and when we saw her she always asked us how we were enjoying our stay and what we got up to! Cost of dinner was quite pricey - around 25 euros per person, but that was to be expected for a hotel! Dinner was okay but not the best food we had in Marakech.
The breakfast is very good, there is one or two hot options (egg and pastry) that is rotated each day but there are some staple items such as bread and dips provided each day. Some of the options included freshly baked croissant, freshly baked pain au chocolat, crepes, as well a traditional Msemmen. We asked on the day if they could prepare a vegetarian dinner later for when we arrived which they did and it was really convenient for us as we hadn't quite got our bearings of Marakech and didn't want to find somewhere to eat so late at night! As the hotel wasn't very busy, they gave us a better room for the first few nights of our stay but we did have to move to another room which was great. The rooms we stayed in were fantastic and seem typical of a riad. It is quite noisy if you are trying to sleep and other guests are sitting in the courtyard as it is very echoey, but there is virtually no noise at night from the medina or the roads. The rooms are quite cosy but well decorated. Bathroom was clean and shower worked great (took a while to get warm!). There is also air conditioning and we used this to heat the room a little bit as we visited at the end of November. Location is perfect and you can practically walk within the medina - It's only around 10/15-minute walk to Jemaa El Fna and many restaurants are available 8-minute walk towards the square. There are also lots of small shops nearby that sell snacks and water at local prices. The hotel staff were also very kind to provide us with an early breakfast as we had to leave for a day excursion, we needed to leave at 6am so they provided some cake and coffee for us at 5.45 am! We had to do this twice during our time and they were very accommodating. Main breakfast with hot options is only served between 8am and 10am but usually freshly made if you get there between 8 and 8.45.
