Lighting was harsh on the eyes, softer bulbs would be great but this is being very picky!

Breakfast is an extra 5 euro but is actually great value for money and very tasty. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the Riad is beautiful. Nice being given a key to the front door to come and go as we pleased. Comfy beds and pillows.

We had an excellent stay at Riad Zanzibar ! We travelled with our 3yo and a couple of friends and we shared a huge room with two toilets and showers that made our stay very comfy and easy! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly and the overall Riad and location are perfect! The 3yo enjoyed the pool after a long day out! Breakfast is excellent, with local and fresh products every day ! I would definitely come back, thanks!

Rooftop terrace was gorgeous - beautiful for a lovely breakfast, relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. We were able to leave bags before a late flight home. The bathroom was beautiful!

Fantastic location just a few steps from the buzzing center. Total silence to sleep and very clean room. Delicious breakfast at the rooftop and lounge chairs to sunbathe. Staff is super nice and helpful. I will stay there again if I come back!

Beautiful riad in the heart of the medina. Lots of original and opulent features and a lovely sun terrace with a shady chill out area. The place is a tranquil haven in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh medina. Badr was really friendly and helpful, as were all the other staff. Breakfast was plentiful.

Good location very close to Bahia Palace and within walking distance to Jemaa el-Fnaa. A nice breakfast was provided on the roof terrace and the host was excellent and gave detailed and useful information about activities available in and around Marrakech.

Lack hospitality from staff. Very business with no ‘nice touches’ that are at every other stay we were at in Morocco. Breakfast is over priced and not worth it at all. Ver basic food

the plunge pool was a bit murky and shaded by a giant palm and fig tree . the weather was cloudy so we didn’t feel the need to use thd pool to cool off which was a good thing . the traditional lamps in our room were charming but it was very dark even when they were all on .

traditional building in an excellent location . our family room etc very spacious, nice big bathroom, plenty of hot water and the breakfast on the roof top terrace was very good . there were sun beds on the roof which may have been nice in sunnier weather .

I was a bit surprised that only bank transfers and cash were accepted, but it worked out. Our room, the Mafia Room, was nice but a bit small for 6 people. The upstairs guests had to duck to get to their beds and they were just mattresses on the floor. However, I peeked in the other rooms while they were cleaning and the low ceilings/cramped feeling didn’t seem to apply there. I’m thinking maybe the Mafia Room should be discounted a bit more since it isn’t the same as the others.

The airport transfer was so great for our arrival. Very good communication with staff and we also got to meet the owners. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a great was for us to be able to show our kids what a genuine riad looks like without the crazy cost of other riads.

In our room, the second room's ceiling was very low, we were bumping our heads constantly. The shower was not working properly. But those are minor things compared to the beauty of the Riad and how clean it was.

Very authentic Riad, perfect if you want to experience the real Moroccan spirit. The location is 5 mins by foot to the main square, close to everything. The host is very friendly and always here to help you.

The rooms can be a little dark. It’s just an observation and it’s due to the style of the Riad. It’s not a big deal. Turn the lights on and you’ll be fine.

The owners and staff at the Riad are very friendly and helpful which made the stay feel very homely. They were happy to store our luggage until we returned from the desert. It is a beautiful, old, traditional Riad that is a peaceful escape from the noise of the Medina, yet it is walking distance to everything. The pool area is small but lovely and we enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop. If you want a cosy and authentic Riad with lovely hosts, then you will be happy here. Thank you for having us.

This is a real ancient riad you might find in Marrakech, it was built more than 300 years ago and is still steady after the earthquake. May it continue to be strong! I would like to send my sincere thanks to the host for all that he did for us.

Really really nice stay! Super calm and clean, the staff are so attentive, ready to go above and beyond for us. The rooms were cleaned every other day, which was more than enough. The area also seemed safe, no complaints :)

Staff/owner was very helpful and kind - nothing was ever an issue. Right next to parking area which made getting around very easy + was given a map and basic rundown at the beginning of stay so we were able to figure out where and what we wanted to do :)

Three of our beds were on the second floor which had quite a low ceiling. A few of us bumped our heads, nothing serious and it definitely didn't ruin our stay, but just something to keep in mind.

Location was ideal, within walking distance of everything we needed. The transport from the airport was very handy as well, particularly given we were arriving quite late and also had delays. The staff were all very friendly.

The second floor, which had three of our beds, had quite a low ceiling. This wasn't a big deal but just something to keep in mind. We did find two cockroaches in the bathroom, it wasn't a big deal, we are quite good with bugs and whatnot but I can understand this would be very off-putting for others.

Location was perfect, within the Medina, walking distance to all that we wanted and needed. The staff were all very nice.
