The flat is next to the beach with a nice terrace and sea view. There is a big free parking 5 min walk from flat or sometimes there were available parking spots near the house itself. The flat interior is fairly simple but there is everything what might be needed. The host responds quickly

The owner is quick to respond and we really appreciated that he went out of his way to send us by post something we forgot there. The bed linen was very nice and the apartment was clean and comfortable.

The premises, on entering from the street, was not kept in a clean or tidy manner. There was what looked like discarded building materials left in the hallway.

The apartment was a central location to transport, restaurants, and leisure activities.

Unfortunately there was a day without water but Manuel was excellent in communicating and was helpful throughout despite it being entirely out of his control.

The location is great. right on the beach and a handful of restaurants close by. Also close to Marsaxlokk and east to access airport from. The apartment is traditionally decorated and the locals speak Maltese as well as English so we got a more authentic Maltese experience here.

There are no mosquitos nets on all windows, flat and equipment are old and needs renewal, especially bathroom. In the same house there is chicken frying restaurant, so you feel fryied oil smell.

Very good location near sandy beach and bus stations. Comfortable and big terrace for the evenings (view to the beach and port theritory with containers ships).

Noting everything was perfect

This apartment was fantastic it had everything we needed, really comfy beds lovely bed covers too, everything was spotless! And it was so handy to have kids beach stuff already there too, the owner was very helpful. I also think this had the nicest terrace and beautiful views! We also drove around to the top 3 beaches in malta and I don't think they were a patch on our little pretty bay beach. If we ever go back to malta again I would definitely book this apartment again!

Four weeks without a lift .81step up and then 81 steps down which limited the times I could go out due to my heart condition I spoke to Manuel and he said it would be fixed within the fist week this didn't happen. So this ruined my holiday. This apartment was advertised with a working lift not so. Very disappointed 😔

For the price that I pay it's not admissible to have cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. There was something in the bed (bugs) because, after the first night, I had my legs all bitten by something! There are 2 or 3 restaurants/takeaway at the entrance of the apartment so there is some noise at night.

Bathroom could benefit from fresh sealant around the bath tub

Very pleasantly surprised by apartment 3. Large living area with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, TV, wifi, sofa & dining table. Bedroom 1 with double bed & bedroom 2 with two singles. Shower over bath. Great views over the beach from lounge with plenty of restaurants & bars close by. Had one minor issue with hot water (we accidentally switched it off), so messaged owner. He responded almost immediately & advised how to switch it back on. Excellent bus service to Valetta (35 min for Eur2) with bus stop very close by. Would definitely stay here again

The property Pretty Bay Apartments does not offer catering. There are many bars in the area where you can eat well and cheaply. The flat itself is located very close to the beach. Just cross the street and you are already there. Contact with the owner was very good. He answered any questions quickly. Very good transport links allow you to visit other locations in Malta.

There is very little space.Contrary to the usual response of the owner to criticism "everything is on the photos", one doesn't know how little movement space there is unless one is there.Even less does one know that the children's room smells of damp with door closed, the fridge is way too small, the wifi signal is weak, the sofa very old and stained, the shower head oxidated and the water pressure weak,the hall and stairs a proper mess with stains and garbage.Apparently due to an electricity cut the lift had suffered damage,and our apartment was on the 4th floor, but despite the claim by the owner that it would be repaired the day after our arrival,it wasn't.The owner also often replies along the lines of that's what you get for the price,however we spent the first half of our holidays in a great apartment with 2 bedrooms on the north of Malta at a lower cost.All the more to regret why we didn't spend the whole of our holidays there.

There are beach towels,alongside with other towels provided. The terrace is nice,though we found it too hot to pass much time there at this time of the year,but certainly nice in spring or automn.The kitchen is fully equipped.

Not actually 2 bedrooms, double bed in the kitchen. Single beds were tiny bunk beds in a room they could barely fit in. double bed is not large, and is just a fold out bed. very dated. cannot lock any of the balcony doors so not secure. in what felt like a derelict building. Rotten eggs left in the fridge. not as described on here at all, do not book, especially with family.

Amazing place with the best location! it’s a little bit far from the centre of Malta, but buses and taxi are available (bus stop - 2 min) everything that you would like to find is behind the door ☺️. Apartment is so pretty! if you would like to be in the heart of night life you should not stay in Birzebbuga. But for us it was perfect! Also you should understand it’s not 5* hotel.
