Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe room was very small and there was construction happening right in front of the hotel, but than again construction is happening every where in st Julian.
The facilities provided, good quality bathroom toiletries, they provided bathroom robe and slippers as well inspite of being a economy room....very clean. The staff too was was very polite and she allowed us a early check in as well....On the whole,it is a good quality hotel...very nice lobby as well. Good location, all the restaurants are close by, also the Arkadia, the grocery store is close by, so is the mercury mall, a 5 mins walk

ChinaI requested a quiter room to stay as I stated I have serious anxiety disorder at the requirement section, room was adjusted near a construction site with loud noises made in the early morning and around the midnight.
The reception staff, bar staff and the cleaning staff are very helpful they can't do enough for you. Especially, Jelena and John from the reception; the cleaner lady - Snezhana and Luis from the bar. They have been exceptionally supportive in every way we have required help. Always approachable, and give us a warm welcome. Highly recommend this place!

CroatiaThe room is equipped with a "smart" TV without internet access and applications such as You Tube. For all Nutella lovers, there was a large bucket with a pump at breakfast, but nothing came out and there was no spread, which was frustrating.
The hotel is located in an urban district near various facilities. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are neat, clean and spacious, the bathroom and toilet are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is varied and rich and there is everything for different tastes. Wi Fi was good.

United KingdomThere was a lot of noise from the outside roadworks from 8am onwards on weekdays, though this is not within the hotel’s control.
A very well positioned hotel in a side street in Paceville. The hotel is bright and airy, great buffet breakfast, and the staff are all very friendly and polite.

MaltaI was told to present my passport at check-in. The Maltese resident permit card, issued based on a valid travel document, was not acceptable. I wish they had warned me before I left the house so I could take it with me.
Breakfast was good. Room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly the housekeeping. A room with separate toilet and shower room was a nice surprise.

LuxembourgNothing. There is just currently a little bit noise from a nearby hotel construction during daytime on weekdays, but this was not a problem for us as we were out of the hotel most of the day to explore and enjoy the nice island of Malta
Nice and very clean room (with a comfortable bed), helpful and friendly staff, great rooftop pool facility (even if not heated during winter), breakfast with good selection, quite central location of St. Julian's (near to marina, shops/restaurants and nightlife), lovely design of the hotel and its spacious lobby, thus great value for money. Stayed 4 nights. Will certainly come back to this hotel
