The prices on the menu were too high compared to the airport and other areas. E.g. a half litre of coke is 100 Rupeesy.. and there was no meat or curry or beans or sausages....just breads, fruits , spreads and eggs.. Not all staff understands english The Aircon had mold and dust inside and also cleanliness is not at its tops

Mosquitoes can be a problem. Fortunately the staff had the entrance doors closed to the rooms. Be sure to close the windows too. No real negatives about this place considering the price.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The location is a short walk to Belle Mare beach. There was secure parking in the small courtyard. Kid's loved the pool the most.

The room was not cleaned properly due to lack of staff. There was a really weird smell in the bathroom. The pizza is terrible, i almost threw up while eating it. Not all the mattresses are comfortable to sleep in, in the room booked. The TV did not have a proper signal, so we could not watch TV.

The breakfast was exquisite. The cooking staff are very friendly. Beautiful concept. Nice swimming pool as well.

Very close to the beach, possibility to rent a car, AC in the room, nice and clean swimming pool. Evening entertainment with local music and dancers! Very friendly and helpful staff!

Excellent value for money. We had breakfast and dinners included in our rate and both were good. Staff are brilliant, extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and small tv. It's a 2 star hotel with pool, but exceptional value for money. Everywhere is clean and rooms are tidied each day. Recommend for a budget stay, everything else in Belle Mare is much more expensive.

I recommend this place for a first introduction to Mauritius. The Manager is very helpful and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help you, such as driving you to the airport if needed. He helped us coordinate the return of our car so we didn't have to wait long at the airport. He went with us to the bank around the corner so we didn't have to stand in a long line to exchange money. The staff is smiling and accommodating in everything. The rooms are smaller but clean. Breakfast and dinner tasty and portions large. If we had stayed at this place on the first day of our trip, we would have saved a lot of money. We would have had a cheaper car rental once and we would have known where to shop and eat well.

The villa is very old and looks a bit like abandoned by the owners, it definitely needs some renovation works and deep cleaning so that the guests can feel more comfortable and enjoy more their stay. Pool area also needs some touch up

The property is well located, only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The staff are nice, especially Surika, and they cook very well, we had a nice breakfast and dinner (grilled fish/veggies). Our room was also kept clean by the staff

The room and bathroom corrispond to local standards… There is not much of interest around the property and the beach is a 5min walk away; the beach is beautiful, but deserted, no infrastructure around (restaurants, cafés), only one all-inclusive resort. Close to the property is a hindu temple and in the evening there were non-stop prayers (for hours) transmitted via loudspeakers…

The owner, Mr. Vishal, and the whole staff were very nice and friendly; I felt welcomed. The room was nicely decorated and the breakfast (and dinner) was very good and abundent. A good stay for 1-2 nights during a trip around the island.

Rooms are pretty small and need refurbishment. The worst is light - dimmed with ugly blue covers - fortunately we managed to change the room as we could not stand the light [= lack of light]. They offerred us a FOC dinner which was nice, but quality of the food was pretty low. We preffered to pay in nearby restaurant that have the "same" for free..

Decent alternative for what is offered on the Eastern Coast. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. OK for 2-3 day stay. Efficient Wi-Fi. Safe parking.

The rooms are nothing to write home about, but you have such an amazing beach near by that you won't spend a lot of time in them anyway.

The location was excellent and was the main reason I booked it (5 min by foot from the beach). The hosts were really pleasant and re-opened the kitchen for us when we arrived late on our first day. Everything was clean and tidy. There was really nice and affordable local food you can grab near by.

Eden Villa is very close to the beach and in the center of the small village Belle Mare. Around the hotel you will find shops and streetfood. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, always happy and helped us with everything. They are offering also boat tours to the Ile aux Cerfs.
