great setting and facilities, staff is very friendly, accommodated various requests etc. very cool adult only pool with an amazing view to the sea.

Outerspaces were disappointment. Hotel had the worse garden and outerspaces of all of our four hotels we stayed. Old broken sunbeds covered with bird waste. Cocroach under the sunbed matress and the lack of parasols. The beach was not the best one either. We stayed 6 days and all that time there was half empty glass bottle beside one sunbed. We even put it on the table to staff to be able to see it but nobody took it away in six days!! I really didn’t expect that! Staff did not take care of the beach facilities like in the other hotels did. Usually hotels in Mauritius offer snorkeling tours 2-3 times a day, Hilton didn’t offer any. You can not walk by the beach to the Flic en flac because there is a muddy river next to the hotel. And also a public beach next to the hotel. Facilities absolutely not five star hotel. I would go somewhere else at the same price and you will definitely get more!!!

Service was excellent, breakfast was great. Room was also nice but didn’t offer anything very special. Nice swimming pools. We stayed in 4 hotels on our holiday and Hilton was the most expensive one but did not make any impression. I really expect more of the environment and facilities of the hotel.

i wish they would have updated on the status of facilities readiness post Cyclone Bilal. Pool was not in service. Beach was messy and took time for cleaning. i know the post effect, just wished i was informed or notify in the website earlier before i make booking!

-Overrated & overpriced for what it is -Reservation of 600 Euros for 4 days because they thought we could not afford to pay the drinks -Unfriendly and incompetent reception personal - 250 Euros Additional fee charged for New Years Eve Dinner during check-in and no option was given, additinal fee for half boards in the different restaurants - Food not tasty, dry fish, cold pasta, no choice for salat dressing and marmelade, the majority of the food has a very indian taste - Fake candles

The experience at the Hilton Resort was great! The staff is very friendly and they really care about your needs. The restaurants were very good and we enjoyed our stay very much. When we come back to Mauritius, we are definitely looking forward to returning to this resort.

Check in took a long time. The sea at hotel was brown coloured - probably because of the near river.

The bed was very comfortable and wide. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and rich, like in 5* hotel.

The ocean water was dirty. Apparently that happens when it rains. Asked staff for alternative locations nearby that had clear water and was told there are none when it rains. It's all brown water. That was false. Flic en Flac beach had crystal clear water while the ocean outside of Hilton was like cofee. Not being able to take long walks on the beach without crossing somewhat discugusting dirty river water was a big surprise. At high tide, you will get water waist high if you cross those river inlets. Would have been so easy to solve with accurate info and maybe even a shuttle that goes back and forth to Flic en Flac.

Cleanless was an issue as found plates cups as well as table mats dirty. Ants on tables n very annoying having cats around the food the tables aswell birds sitting on bread n cakes.

Breakfast was good n big variety for all tastes. As no other place for comments a BIG THANK YOU TO ASSISTANT HEAD CONCIERGE MR JEAN MICHEL ELISA for his excellent service, assistance and care during our stay.

For us no issue but for purely french speaking persons, which is to be expected on this island, some of people with customer contact speak only english. Some of building construction needs refurbishment, good luck it is planned for next month, so should not be visible in future.

Location, facilities, and especially the people. Very helpful and friendly. We had some issues which have been resolved immediately above expectation. The people are customer oriented and so helpful with a great level of so positive surprise.

I guess because it's a big facility one should expect some delays, I was bothered by delays in cleaning room. One day we left for the beach at about 8am we returned at 4pm and room was still not cleaned for the day. We cleaned it, there was not much to be done. House keeping came at about 6pm, we were bushed tired to allow them to clean the room and we had dinner to get ready for.. It was not a big issue but it could be something to improve..

I noticed that there was a rather surprising number of inexperienced staff - I guess my of the more experienced staff have not returned following Covid. The hot water stopped working at some point but this was resolved quickly.

Comfortable room and available leisure facilities. Very enjoyable breakfast and dinner. The room cleaning staff were very warm and engaging and enhanced my enjoyment of the stay.

I think cruise to watch delphins should be included as well. In other hotel they had snorkling boats, which was not the case in Hilton. For 5 star hotel this should be provided because the spot thid delphins is not far
