Clean, comfortable but quirky accommodation in lovely tropical garden. Loved the hammocks, small pool and turtles. Good breakfast included. The location is ideal - quiet but a few steps from the beach and a short walk into town.

Nice comfy cabana, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location near the beach and town. Breakfast was varied over the two mornings of our stay and v tasty. Owner/manager was present and engaging.

There was a slight damp smell in the room.

Lovely big room which was very comfortable. Fantastic to hear and see the birds in the trees outside our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent!

A couple rooms are near to reception so it’s easy to hear that activity from inside your room.

Location is great, 100 feet from the beach and a few blocks from center of town with several restaurants only a block or two away. The hotel’s Inner Courtyard is wonderful. The prepared Breakfast is Excellent! The on site staff was also great and happy to help. We always appreciate a staffed hotel.

Pool could have been cleaner. Sink worked well but was a bit bizarre with large stones in it. I'm not sure if that was for effect.

The grounds and property are beautiful. It is steps from the beach. The staff are very friendly and work hard to solve any problems that guests have. The breakfast is very large and delicious. I was not expecting a 3 course breakfast!

Decaf coffee please 🥹 Stairs could be a safety issue for families with small kids, but our big kids loved them.

Had a super late arrival but Ray was waiting for us when we arrived, and got us additional towels and pillows. Comfy bed! We were in the tippy top room and had two balconies, both of which you could see the beach and waves from, albeit between other houses. It was marvelous. Water, a fridge, a microwave and coffee maker (alas no decaf for the coffee maker but we brought our own) and we were good to go. Breakfast is from 8-10 and sorta whatever they serve, but it's delicious and a perfect mexican breakfast experience. (They can make you other things on request). They also checked about allergies and that was easy to communicate. We had two 12+ kids on the fold out bed and one found it so confortable and the other, the opposite 😜 We had a lot of wonderful help from Elisa with getting (and then cancelling) a local rental, and getting a taxi. Very sweet and helpful. Unique outdoorsy hotel that we're headed back to tomorrow!

There was construction happening next door to the hotel, which is completely out of their control and they did tell us in advance this was happening. It didn't impact our stay, just something to be aware of.

The hotel is located steps from the beach. There were beach chairs available for us to take down with us, it's in a great spot. Very easy to run back to the room if needed. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. They helped with booking a taxi to the airport and made sure our stay was comfortable. The room was very spacious, with a hide a bed that we used. The hotel has a funky vibe, great court yard with a pool and hammocks to enjoy. It was very conveniently located to walk into town for shopping and to enjoy the restaurants. Breakfast was larger than expected, there was fresh fruit with granola, then a hot meal. Very satisfying.

Room smelled a musty due to the humid weather and being on the ground floor.

Elisa at the front desk was exceptionally pleasant and helpful--it felt like we had a friend from the moment we walked in. The location is great, with easy access to the beach just around the corner. Good quality beach chairs are provided for free, which was great. We were there on a weekend, so the beach (which has public access) was busy and active with what seemed to be at least as many locals as tourists. We really enjoyed that vibe and energy, but those looking for a secluded private beach should look elsewhere. The town itself turned out to be our favorite of our entire Yucatan vacation--lots of great food and shops, with a great balance of touristy stuff and authentic Yucatan/Mexican feel, and of course lots of options for water activities.

Sheets a bit small for the bed. The bed was comfortable but small for a double- would be an issue for tall/large people

There was nothing !

I can't say enough good things about this inn. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was grand. from a warm greeting to accommodating us for a breakfast with bacon one morning to helping us with our reservations to Circus Soleil Joya and also taxi rides to show and airport. Also, they helped with reservations to a restaurant downtown for a special occasion. Our room was very comfortable and the grounds very nice.

Unfortunately there was building work going on across the street. To their credit the owners informed us in advance so we could have cancelled but glad we didn't. We were given beach towels and chairs that we could take to the beach but would have liked to have had a beach umbrella.

We had an amazing room accessed by a wooden staircase. It had wooden beams and a traditional Mayan thatched roof, a balcony with a view of the sea and was really spacious. The highpoint of each morning was the delicious breakfast served in the garden. Fantastic cooking and lovely friendly service. A few yards down a track and we were on the beach.
