More hooks in tent area. More substantial mats under tent. Upkeep of grounds and common use lawn chairs. Communal drinking water access would be a big plus

The quadruple room with private toilet outside is not worth the price. If I new I had gone to the huts with shared bathroom. The room is ugly and not any near the toilet

Bathrooms could be cleaner. It is a bit of a hustle to get into town although the camping offers a shuttle once a day. Huts are tiny and the beds are rather small.

The camping is a little out of town of Bacalar. Wonderful nature and beautifully made camping site. The staff are very nice and welcoming.

We had a private toilet and shower, but it's not connected to a room, so it's a bit tricky and inconvenient to rock a room/ toilet/ shower every time.

The mosquitos, but if you want to be in the middle of the nature you have to get used to it. The bathrooms weren't that clear but overall I think that is a really good place to stay a few nights and enjoy the lake.

The location was amazing, right in the middle of the lake. The staff was really nice, the food was really good too. They arrange us a taxi to come back and have transports if you want to go to the center of Bacalar. I recommend it.

Our room was careless, it is not as any of the photos. It could be nicer if they worried a bit. The clothe covering the walls was ragged and in poor taste.

The distance from the main road to the complex was short but adventurous, you have to drive carefully and keep going until you can see the lagoon. There were some ants in our room, but not so many to be a real nuisance.

The main reason, we chose to stay at this place was of course the direct access to the Bacalar lagoon with its swings and hammocks in the water and we were not disappointed, it was really great to relax and get some nice shots, too! Considering the equipment of the whole complex, we took the luxurious option with private bathroom and air condition, which was working just fine. We also had a mini fridge. The complex itself was also tidy and nicely kept. The restaurant was average with tipical dishes and reasonable prices. We just had a beer, juice and some nachos, though.

Toilet and shower were really DIRTY and I couldn’t use it until the day after. Also the place was very crowded of people and so a bit noisy.

It's far out of town so you can't easily go shopping for example. The camping has a restaurant though. It was open untill 15.30 when I was there. So you might want to bring some food with you. I haven't discovered why this camping is called an ecocamping. They don't seperate garbage and sell water bottles in stead of putting a big water tank like in most hostels.

This campsite is in a beautiful location right at the lake. It's very peaceful and I absolutely loved my stay. The girl who is waitressing and the young guy at the reception are super friendly. The other employees could be friendlier and more helpful. There is a shuttle at 11.00 and 16.00 which goes to the yaxche campsite in the centre.

Our tent was directly on a muddy floor ‐ would have loved at mat outside tent entrance. Other than that v well kept and clean.

free shuttle wasn’t reliable. We nearly missed our bus as the shuttle never showed up. Luckily one of the staff members gave a group of us a lift in his truck.

Restaurant has very flexible hours. Doesn’t really open and close at the same time every day. Sometimes it closes at 4 instead of 7. Some staff members are great, some don’t really pay attention, it depends

Prime location on the lagoon and close to the center of Bacalar. Very peaceful place. The restaurant is also very good and affordable. We got upgraded for free to a room with AC and private bathroom, at no extra cost, which was great.

The food ordered took some time. we noticed another guest waited an hour for their meal and when it did not show up it was due to the staff member who took their order had left for the day.
