Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. United States of AmericaVacation club sales pressure. It was hard to get hot water for my (multiple) morning teas at the breakfast place as there was no hot water dispenser and the waiters were busy running around with coffees. This could easily be improved by putting in dispensers. Poor restaurant choice inside while many interesting ones nearby. The Mexican restaurant was good, the Italian was lousy, the Japanese was for special charge above all inclusive and was closed on Mondays.
It has a great location. Breakfast was excellent.

United States of AmericaHonestly the bed and pillows were the hardest I can recall ever sleeping on. It would honestly be a show stopper for me again, because of this one issue. And its too bad because we loved so much of the rest of the place. If you like extra firm bed and pillows, this is gold for you, but not for me. The only other issue we had was the food. I honestly not one to be terribly concerned about the food. Its an all-inclusive so I don't go to these expecting 5-star Michelin chefs to be working in the kitchen. But sadly the food was very bleh...unless you get the freshly made stuff that they will make up for you such as egg omelettes, pasta, etc. We actually wound up going into town to get dinner at some lovely local Mexican places and enjoyed that quite a bit more than anything at the resort. So if you' re going there to expect awesome food, you will be disappointed. Too bad because we LOVED everything else about this place.
The hotel lobby and grounds were beautifully kept and the pool was beautiful, although a bit chilly in the mornings. We liked the size of the place. It was an Intimate setting that was very clean and relaxing. Not all the noise and walking that takes place at larger resorts. And while they had some music and games going on at the pool, it was not overbearing, thump-thump, club music blaring all day, as we have had at some resorts. It was just the right amount. The beach was small but nice and clean. They had some kind of netting that fenced in the swimming area, which I think was meant to keep out sea weed, and this seemed to do a good job because there was little if any. The swimming area was all sand on the bottom, no rocks that I found or observed. The hotel staff that we dealt with were very nice, and the rooms were cleaned daily and well cleaned. Our room overlooked the pool and on the third floor we were at palm tree level. Very pretty view of the pool. There was lots of palm trees around the pool so finding a place to relax in the shade was not a problem at all. Did not use the hot tubs, but there were three of them situated between the pool and the beach. We did use the spa which was nice, and it was okay. Nothing to write about, but certainly comfortable enough to enjoy. All in all we very much liked the place except for what we didn't like...

SwedenAll public areas needs upgrade. The mosaic tiles in the pool is coming off, gym needs new equipment(broken machines, lacking weights), restauarants need a refurbishment to stay relevant. Tenniscourt is falling apart more or less. Details, things are broken, why dont they fix it, fence around had barbed wire, now it is cut open in most places and it looks bad, put up new or remove it… Raccons live under the building due to holes in the foundation…..
Nice location

United States of AmericaAsked this man at the reception desk (at night) for a crib didn’t receive one even though I requested it when I made the reservation 3 months in advance, and I was told that there were many families at the resort and I could not get it. That’s insane to me since I have a 2 year old and I had to put him in a very high regular bed which was also dangerous because he could fall off at night. Also I didn’t like that the person at the reception desk at night (the same man) was very rude and didn’t tell us we had to book to go to Reef Playacar so when the shuttle arrived we could not go. This man was very rude overall and I didn’t like that (he was always at the desk at nighttime). Also I didn’t like that even tho we paid for premium bracelets we could not get coffee from the bar in the lobby.
I liked the food, the location and the facility, also the staff was really nice!

United States of AmericaThe people trying to sell you the time share are pushy, aggressive and have, in our opinion, a sales technique that is no longer up to date given the use of emails and web pages. We signed up for their presentation in exchange for one day of all inclusive (we just had breakfast included as 3 days we were off site for excursions). We were honestly interested to see what they had to offer as we do travel fairly often. The give you a nice tour of the building and explain the full service time share options. None of the options are printed out or online, they write it all down by hand on paper and say they can only give you the price discount if you sign right away. We said no, then they sent over another manager that offers you more discounts, then another manager that offer extremely cheap, "next two vacations for only $369 a week", options that were not originally mentioned. By this time we were disgusted with their approach. I said we wouldn't mind thinking about the options but they don't send prices by email, they have no pamphlets with options and prices explained and nothing is poste don a web page. The two managers were very rude and talked to us in a disdainful manner. PLEASE change your sales technique...if your offers are good and honest, you can post the various options on line, with the prices and details and let people think about them. You come off as sleazy sales people which made us think the offers were a scam. I assume your methods work on some people, or you wouldn't be doing it, but for us it sucked and we left thinking you sucked.
Our third floor room was spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The sliding glass doors kept all of the noise out. The bathroom was also large with a nice tiled, walk in shower. The room had two double beds, would have been nicer if they had been queens. The pool area is great, the breakfast buffet is also great. We checked out snorkels and flippers from the dive shop twice (one hour free use) and there is some pretty nice snorkeling right off the beach in front of the hotel. It is not awesome but pretty good and we did see fish and a couple of sting rays.

United KingdomFood labelling in buffet poor and dangerous when you have allergies or even just dislikes. Fish dishes sould be separated and NOT on same dish as chicken which did happen while I was there Waiting to be seated by ONE person for every meal. Its a buffet!!! Lets just go eat!!! Been to mant all incs but never had this. Yeh, give your room number but thats sufficient. Cocktails all tasted like juice with ice. Lighting in room, no bedside lamps, so all bright bright lights😔
Staff great. Facilities in room great ie plug points, usb's, iron, hairdryer you dont have to keep your thumb on to work👍👍👍👍 Generally liked the hotel. Had bad weather for my stay but pool looked good too. And seemed like they tried their best with entertainment despite the weather.
