Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe included breakfast had runny scrambled eggs, and the yogurt choices were only sugared versions. There's a waffle station and sweetened juices, neither sufficient for diabetics. There were only one or two other hot options, one was like a crispy US taquito with chicken and a sauce on the side which was tasty. After the first morning we ate at the adjoining restaurant.
The staff were amazing. Everything you needed, they were there to help with. My husband fell ill and they were able to call a doctor for us, much thanks to Josse for all of her help on that early morning. (The doctor was great, by the way!) I've never seen a harder working cleaning crew. The ladies wiped down every surface, vacuumed, mopped (and then dried) the floors. We want to extend a big thank you to Apolonia who was very understanding and accommodating with our needs. The lobby has double doors, the interior door needs a room key to open, so security is not an issue as there are also usually two men posted, one by each door. The bedroom lighting was a little dim, but then we realized it was so that the light from one area didn't disturb the other (keeping light from the 'living room' from interfering with the 'bed room' side). Our windows faced the interior hallway and atrium to the lobby but did not seem to open, so it tended to feel stuffy in the room. The included breakfast generally did not meet our needs, which was a downer. However there is an attached restaurant. The restaurant had good food (under seasoned for 'Mexican' food), and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Fernanda learned our needs and tastes, her suggestions were delicious. The gym was a nice addition, as was the terrace considering the beautiful weather we had. It only would have been better if there were some lounge chairs out, rather than all dining chairs. But it's understandable as it is still 'winter'. The location is only about two blocks to the Zocalo, which was a nice spot to hang out, easy to find restaurants & shopping, or pick up tourist busses or Ubers. When we return to CDMX we will certainly stay here again! Gracias a todos!!

United States of AmericaThe rooms are somewhat dated.
The size of the room was perfect for our family of five. It was a queen suite with two queen beds and a separate room with a pullout sofa. The location was very convenient for access to downtown activities and restaurants. It is noisy on the street, but it's also a bustling city and a historic building, so we weren't surprised by that.

MexicoEverything was great!
The location is excellent. The Hotel is 3 blocks from Zocalo. The staff is available 24 hours. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent not much variety but the Coffee of Holla is amazing. The best part of all for me was that the hotel has free washing and a dryer for laundry. I was thrilled with this service that is not advertised. The hotel is beautiful on the exterior and the interior if you like colonial places. It has an elevator and it is not too big or too small. The rooms have nice showers and places to sit and rest beside your regular bed. The hotel offers daily, 2 bottles of water which is great in Mexico. They have great security at the entrance and a secure door that you open only with your card. The hotel also has 2 good restaurants on the first floor. The beds are very comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe lighting isn’t great, but with the outdoor view room you can open the drapes and the light is greatly improved. The regular coffee isn’t great, but the café de olla is delicious! The room can be a bit hot — wish the rooms had fans at times.
Breakfast is different every day and freshly made. The staff is very friendly and the service is on point. My husband didn’t care for the coffee, however there’s many coffee places within walking distance. The location of the hotel is great. Always felt very safe and the hotel offers rooms with indoor/outdoor views.

United States of AmericaI wish the terrace was available. Having a space where to sit and relax in the outdoors would be great. Although there is a terrace, I believe it is closed right now. Even with this..it was a good place to stay.
A very nice hotel with very good staff and service. The Bfast could be better but we enjoy the coffee and the pastries. More vegetarian options would be great.
