We don’t have any real complaints. We stayed in the Vanilla room and only thing we didn’t love was that there was foot traffic next to the window which meant you had to have most of the shades closed if you wanted privacy. But this was very minor as we had also had a really nice private area with plunge pool on the roof.

This spot is right in the thick of tulum beach scene, but we were able to avoid all of the clubby vibes when we felt like relaxing. Their beach “club” is really comfortable, charming and not crowded which we loved, and the section of the beach is excellent for swimming. The staff was super kind and made sure we felt comfortable and had what we needed - special shout out to Manuel who was a great server. Also, everything on the beach is really expensive, which didn’t sting so much because the food was AMAZING. The Aguachile was to die for and the fish tacos were also incredible - everything else we saw come out also looked delicious and very thoughtful. Kudos to the kitchen staff!

Cute Little Beach Stay for the Weekend!

Wish there was a TV or some more entertainment, but understandable as this is supposed to be a beach getaway. Toiletries were strange, oily with a weird smell. The only other annoying thing was having to take my bags through the path/boards on the sand, but I get the hotel was on the beach so it was to be expected.

Loved that the hotel was right on the beach! The hotel restaurant food and drinks were refreshing, delicious and affordable. The area was quiet and cute, perfect stay for a beach getaway. Location of the hotel was in the middle of all of the action in Tulum main strip. The room was a little small, but bed was comfortable and it did the trick for my two night stay.

They are strict about having your own food and drink in the beach loungers, which was disappointing. We stayed at another beachfront hotel on the same trip and they had no such rule. Tulum is expensive so it was nice to be able to bring some beers and snacks from the market rather than paying restaurant prices all the time. I feel as a guest I shouldn't be restricted. Maybe for day pass visitors, where the hotel/restaurant is trying to make money but otherwise, thumbs down on that policy.

Parking space, the lobby it’s just doesn’t feel like you’re getting to the hotel. In fact it doesn't even go with what awaits you after those doors.

    Food! It’s just amazing.

I wish it was more affordable so I could come back every year lol. We split our stay between here and a more affordable option (Jade Tulum) and clearly Orchid was better. It's up to the consumer to decide what amenities they feel they would prefer. I wish I had an opportunity to use the outside plung tub but it was kinda dirty - I used the hammock a bunch tho!

Such an intimate and beautiful location, the complimentary breakfast made it easy to get our day started with a little something before we'd adventure Tulum. The price is high because this location is prime, as it's on the beach and close to many popular restaurants- BTW, check out Ukami, best restaurant in Tulum beach.

my only complaint is there was some construction they were doing on the property that was sometimes in the way or loud. but they did their best to mitigate the disturbance.

the property was small and quaint, only 7 rooms which was nice because the staff knew us and were very attentive. the service was fantastic, the food was amazing, it was the perfect location and not too pricy for the area.

The food sometimes arrived cold. Service could be a bit more attentive.

This beautiful boho beach house was amazing! Newly renovated and stylish. The hotel is small which is just what we like and walking distance from other beach clubs that play loud music and have parties. This one is nice and low key. We had an incredible room with a pool. Walking distance to the GoMart and other stores and restaurants. Good parking area. Loved the menu at the restaurant and the continental breakfast which comes with the room. Great housekeeping. Loved the beach sun bed loungers.

Construction going on during the time of our stay, but it was only one day. It was very difficult to understand how to order breakfast in the morning. We had to search for staff to order from. We didn't use the rooftop of the Horizon room at all. The rooftop pool was cold and kind of dirty, plus it was so windy that we didn't want to stay up there. Also, the rooftop is parallel and very close to the restaurant deck, so there were people looking directly at us.

The best amenities were the beach and the private rooftop tub. We stayed in both the Vanda and Horizon rooms. Vanda was preferred over Horizon because it was WAY less windy and the tub was cleaned daily. Rooms were clean, we felt safe, and breakfast was good. Overall, worth it for the price.

WiFi wasn’t working in our room during the entire stay. Staff made clear it was an ongoing issue which they weren’t able to fix reliably. This didn’t help me though. Unclear prices (USD menu instead of MXN with unclear conversion rate) on the beach. Was presented with bills without costs specified and staff then added their own tips. It was all acceptable but stressed me out. Why is this necessary? Music on the beach sometimes too loud for my taste.

In between tall palm trees, right at the beach. Romantic. Good shower and spacious room, bed, balcony. Beach towels provided. Cleanliness very good. Rooftop bathtub. Coffee maker in the room. Green area adjacent to the hotel makes it a bit more quiet.

The room we stayed, koko, has the generator right above. Therefore it is loud during the day but they turn it of at night, so you can sleep fine (you still have electricity 24/7). The safe box is very small so we couldn't fit our 13" pc. And, there was a construction going on for the last 2 days of our stay. That gave me the uneasiness. The sound of grinders and many workers around doesn't really give much vacation vibes. But I must point out that at one point at the beach I asked if they could stop the grinder when we are there (also the paint dust is not very healthy) and they did.

The location of the hotel is nice, the beach is beautiful. Continental breakfast of the hotel is quite filling, but if you wanna order something else for breakfast those options are also tasty and not super expensive for Tulum. The bed sheets and towels are very clean. The ambience of the room was very relaxing. Internet and A/C works perfectly. Also I think December was a good time to visit Tulum because we didn't have any problem with seaweed. And lastly, the staff is nice and helpful. You can ask the reception about restaurant recommendations and taxi fares.

Slow service, but again like I said, I am guessing this is probably because of staffing issues. Faster wifi and bigger room for the price would be good.

Our 4th time in Tulum, 1st time at My Way. Very friendly. Clean. Service a bit slow but I am guessing probably due to pandemic shortages and such like we are dealing with everywhere. Food was delicious. This is in the area kind of mid beach strip and more and more keeps getting built. I recommend staying in one of the 4 rooms closer to the beach, quieter. there is a new restaurant across the Street that bumps into the late night. during the day a beach club to the left that bumps til the evening, but its not too bad. We stayed in Cariben, highest rooftop and the bathtub had warm enough water to enjoy! Some say the beds are too firm but we liked it. The room was TINY but the patio balcony and rooftop kind of made up for it. Wifi was so so.

The sound from the neighboring restaurant was too much. They close at 1AM so we couldn’t sleep until that time. Also hotel needs some attention to detail, it looks little run down.
